I happy to say I was able to drop several cards exactly as he did @ 2:30 ! Sadly, a camera malfunction prevented my posting video proof of the triump, but the satisfaction is certainly there. - This is just a stunning routine, thank you for sharing !

They must have gadgets to help with the slight of hands. My guess wires and springs. But it does not matter they are good with their illusions!
Who's doing the editing? How many video cuts do you need? every 3 seconds is a camera angle change, how are you supposed to appreciate it
Because some of the misdirection doesn't work in video and some effect is nicer in some specific angle and distance
