  • A tutorial on how to cover drawers and dresser with round edges in vinyl wrap. Also known as contact paper, vinyl wrap is a self-adhesive covering for most hard, dry surfaces such as furniture and kitchen cabinets. The use of Self adhesive vinyl wrap is popular in the home and office environment as well as in camper vans due to its lightweight, no-mess and easy DYI properties.

    Does this rip easy? I see a lot of comments on amazon listings that vinyl wood wrap breaks and tears easy and corners are hard to do?

    Hi great job! Would I need to sand the wood underneath prior to the application? Also, does it last quite well?

    • @VinylhomeNZ
      @VinylhomeNZ  7 років тому +4

      no need to sand as long as it's a smooth surface. Any imperfections may shine through. Yes it lasts well

    Hi,will it help in softening sharp edged furniture? To make it kids safe .

    • @VinylhomeNZ
      @VinylhomeNZ  4 роки тому +1

      The vinyl is very thin so it won't really soften sharp edges

    • @archades54
      @archades54 2 роки тому

      Sand and use putty to fill gaps if you want it smooth. Otherwise you will see dimples.
