N LD the mere fact that someone would think love can be rationalised is a sign of misunderstanding what love is. Love is presence and with the presence of love there is no measuring or rationalise. May Allah guide us Allah and bless us with true love of Him and His Beloveds
Depends on what you love. Yes, if what you love is the dunya, i.e. wealth, attachment to the opposite sex, and children more than Allah and His Prophet (saws). No, if you love Allah and His Prophet (saws) above all else.
