Abstract:
Professor Helen Donath corrects aspects such as support, position of the body and mouth, etc. for a correct pronunciation. It is important to let breathing carry the body, instead of pushing it. Everything is in relation to the breath. Donath also insists on the style and the character: the key for a classical singer is to be able to sing whatever, Lied, opera or cabaret. The pronunciation has to be always supported by the breathing. Finally, the magic of singing consists on doing everything with your voice, everything is possible.
