Tiptoe is a “ specialist “. He knows what he likes and what he doesn’t. If and when he outlasts his human family guardians; living on Earth; … at least bc of his fan base; Tiptoe will survive.
Tiptoe does have a support system that can be put in place for him in which he will educate future generations about tortoises and living in a backyard environment. This is important ❤️🐢❤️

Good morning, Caitlin and tiptoe! Another Saturday morning in Minnesota where it’s 40°! I’m sure Mr. T would not enjoy it here. However my wife and I thoroughly enjoy watching your video this morning the question and answers. We learn a lot every time and enjoy seeing him pop in and pop out, we look forward to the next video. He'd be hibernating more than 50% of the year or you'd have to keep him in a large heated basement.

I think he would be an amazing mother, I mean look at how you mother tiptoe it’s just incredible to see the love in the joy in the happiness on your face every time the big guys in the screen with you it’s really cool to watch. I just wanted to let you know that these videos you come up with are amazing I can be stressed out and frazzled because I’m a person like you were I’m like all over the place and I sit down and take time and watch these videos and it just takes a lot off my mind and puts a lot of good things into my heart take care and God bless

Both turtles and tortoises has always interested me. They're such facinating animals since how their bodies work are so different compared to mamals. And so when I foud your chanel I fell absolutley in love with it. Thank you for posting such educational videos and as I know you work with children with autism I just want to say thank you as a fellow person with autism. Take care!❤️

I think TipToe should have more time with Grandpa, he definitely cares about TipToe but TipToe doesn't seem to appreciate him. We're not here forever, we need to appreciate those who are there for us❤️

Great videos as always. Have you ever done one on the different things he eats? He can get pretty big. 200 + is easy depends how much Calcium he gets.

Caitlin, sometimes you mention it’s healthy for him to grind his beak down while eating on concrete.
Sometimes it looks chipped or uneven. Is that a problem? Can he grow it in?

He chipped it pretty drastically a few years ago (trying to eat a rock) luckily it grows back just like our fingernails do so it has come back quite nicely. At the current state its pretty jagged so I need to do some work on it

The bigger Tiptoe gets ,seem his shell got lighter color than when he was your palm size ,, and his choppers are getting bigger and stronger from biting large veggies .....🥒🐢💕

what about trying AAC Buttons to teach him to speak his needs? Will you try that?
with TT's gular/chest in the shape of a heart proves he would be perfect for a nursing home or cancer hospital...etc,i have a 8 year old sulcata and can't wait for newyear_hope to get as big as TT,you both compliment each other❤ i live in florida and it doesn't get that cold here either,we get some 40s but my guy has a burrow not a doghouse,my mud turtle lives inside and my red eared slider has a pond with a heater and my box turtle lives in a huge garden but she comes inside when it gets under 70 at night and the red ear and sulcata come inside when it gets under 50 degrees,i have always loved TT's name,very creative🙂you take care of him like he's your child,but I'm the same way with my shelled angels❤i have to say my favorite scene has been when TT took the sunglasses off your face 🤣😂🐢❤

At night does Tiptoe ever open his doors , come out , go back in house ? Will his doors be open all night,, dont have to worry about animals especially at night ? Would it be safer to latch his doors until morning ?
