I definitely feel like I'm stuck in tutorial hell right now. Perhaps that's a good thing. I guess it means I've outgrown my comfort zone. But I still haven't made that crucial step of having wrung something valuable out of a large dataset from scratch. It feels like getting out of the heated swimming pool and jumping into the cold unheated one.

Yeah, I get that. You really just have to take the leap and do it, get stuck a million times along the way, and power through each time :)
