That new radio looks pretty cool I do love this new Vorza truck but HPI was one of my first real rc brands. I’ll watch your running video here soon finally got some time to watch some UA-cam lol. 🇨🇦👋
It's a very good base and new released car really. The radio design looks like a TF40 redesigned for the gaming community, it just makes it more toy grade and less serious.
Hey! You mentioned you’d like to have larger pinions with the stock spur. What number teeth would you like to use? Currently you an use 16-17t pinion max I believe.
@@JayTeeRC I'm sorry but these latest offerings from hpi look so cheap yet priced high. Plastic shocks, junk servo, plastic servo arm, and the non programmable esc. Not diggin this one, and look forward to the muraco clowning this turd.
That HPI radio looks like a Bluetooth speaker. 😂 I miss the old HPI Nitro RS4 belt drive. That thing was sweet with the automatic 2-speed gearing. We used to put PVC pipe tape over the rear tires and drift them in the Toys R Us parking lots late at night. So much fun, HPI always had some decent affordable cars back then when their competition was only Ofna and Serpent when it came to nitro touring cars.
@@JayTeeRC my favorite thing to do with HPI motor mounts if I can find a spare, is to put both clasps without the fan mount, really cleans up the looks of the vehicle
@@JayTeeRC yes brother. I have 2 SC and 1 clone C1, interesting enough WLtoys made a complete clone of it. It was even fairly decent and only 1/2 of the price. I think you are right it is plastic only black, I was a bit confused. Thanks for the reply.
Regardless whether I was doing UA-cam or not I've been waiting for them to do this Vorza as a truggy for a long time. So I would have made a move any which way it went.
@@nickhathaway4617 or just do what I do. When I see a RC car that I may want I just find a video on it and watch the person run it and grab my RC remote and pretend I'm driving it. It works every time at least for me
On the S buggy, besides wheels/tires, I did notice the shocks are different (possibly a bit longer), as well as the front shock tower. Anyway, glad you picked up one of the truggies. While I'm partial to the S models because I like me some 7075 like in the original Vorza buggy, I think we do need to get a good review on the non-S versions. On the non-S truggy, I'm really curious how the chassis will hold-up without a tower-to-tower brace.
Shocks front and rear according to HPI are 108mm, this is for both the buggy and the truggy. The buggy used to be 100mm all around with an option for 112mm on the rear (still worth doing on the new buggy) and the D8T’s original shocks used to be much longer than those of the Vorza truggy. Using the same shocks on the buggy and truggy could he why the truggy is so low slung and soft.
Yes sir let's get it
I hope HPI brings back their old on road cars like the Sprint 2 Flux which I dearly miss a lot

Great side profile on this Truggy, very low slung,,
Killin' it bro! Big Gap sent me....😎💯💯

I’m looking at getting one too. I love the look of it and the layout.
Great vid 👍
Cool unboxing vid. New Vorza looks really nice. Just those deans are not cool anymore. We talking cents. Come on HPI welcome in 2022 😂
This car actully look really sick
Would love to see a head to head match up with the muraco overall it's a very good looking truggy
coming 🤓

Looks good. Need to get an HPI. Never had one!
Just ordered my vorza s truggy today great vid!
sweet! congrats!!!
@@JayTeeRC Do you know why the Vorza S truggy sits so low ? like take a look at the front. Its a sic car though I was just wondering about that.
@@savagex466-qt1io the shock springs need to be changed as well as the shock oil.
@@JayTeeRC Thanks so much man.

🤭
I will check the shocks, if they are plastic, def not the same model.
Why are the front arms droopy/sagging down so low
Just luv the RC game!!!
Fire
When did hpi release this??
announced several months ago. see link in description to buy
Looks good but that motor mount is like the Sledge and well we all know that issue .
actually there has never been an issue on the vorza with this
@@JayTeeRC so Traxxas tried to copy and f up lol 😆

that was part of the reason I canceled my pre order. Arrma spoiled me by allowing me to use pretty much whatever motor I want.
@@BeautyBeastRC it’s easy enough to just use the Trophy Buggy motor mount if you want more freedom
Took hpi how many years to copy the D8T like they did the D8 huh and did they stick with D8 v1 parts lol.
$549 is a decent price 🤔
No brother, apache has metal shocks, I have 3 of them :-)
is it the SC model then? I think that's the one I used to have and I think it had plastic shocks if I can recall.

Nope not for me there here not here parts etc. Cool looking though. If I was a UA-camr making money on video merch etc maybe a good move for views
