My Mum passed 7 months ago now. Wallahi I miss her so much. My lifes almost ground to a halt it seems and my Deen is on hold too. Please make dua for as I seriously need to get back on the Deen. Life it too short, its so true.

As Salamu Alaykum Rather make the change yourself. Nobody can be a Muslim on your behalf you need to fix yourself. May Allah make it easy for all of us. Remember if your iman feels low do the obligations, don’t leave them out. If that happened to the sahaba (the best of people after the prophets) then it will happen to us.

May Allah grant your mother shifa. Brother Yahya, I lost my mother to cancer three years ago and she passed away with in 10 months of being diagnosed. I remember when my mother was told she has cancer she said ‘Alhamdulillah’ my mother was tested in many ways in this dunya but becoz firstly of Allah and then my mothers guidance in our deen my mothers departure from this dunya was one we can ask only Allah for. When she was leaving this dunya she kept raising her hands like she was looking for someone one to, when we asked her who she wanted she responded ‘I want my Allah I want to meet him’ she said this and she closed her eyes with out a single pain. You are a true example of how a son or daughter should be towards their parents, your smile every time you say my mother, may that be a means of you entering Jannah. May Allah grant your mother shifa and May we be reunited with our parents in the highest ranks of Jannah. One of the best podcasts I have listened to this year.

Yahya Raaby’s mother’s character and the way she raised her children is admirable. First time i have seen Sheikh Yahya but, i must say what a beautiful soul and eloquent in his speech. Qur'aan recitation was one of the bes i have heard subhaanALLAH.
