That’s awoken some great memories of 20 years ago when I did a road trip from Perth to all the places you have been to. 100% agree with you on Carnarvon, it was a shit hole back then. Denham on the other hand was beautiful and it looks like it has some some serious coin spent on it. The building you showed built out of the shells was a restaurant, we had an evening meal in there, was fantastic. I asked a local if I could snorkel in Shark Bay, his answer was yes but it’s called Shark Bay for a reason, I didn’t bother. It was a fabulous two weeks spent there. I am now planning another trip with my wife in a couple of years time 👍🏻

Canarvon is an absolute tip, we did the quickest Woolies shop there expecting to come back to no wheels

Have to agree about Carnarvon we only stop for fuel as for Shark Bay it is one of our favourite spots and can easily do a long weekend from Perth definitely need a 4wd to get to the best bits or a boat.
Definitely, when we come back I’d really love to get both 👌 Australia is the only place I’ve been in the world where having a tinny would be so good
@truebluetravellers tinny is great we just sold ours once we got the 6m boat the tinny never got used. That's why we went with a slide on so we have a decent bed and the boat.

We had a beach called Shark Bay in Melbourne. They renamed it Safety Beach cos people wouldn't swim there. Gotta laugh. Cheers, have fun.

😂😂 I know I was slacking there, it’s a form of algae and it’s actually harvested along with the salt in the lake, that’s what happens when Jon has the camera for too long
