Tom comes in hard, but in the end it's all about understanding and unity. The back lash Tom got for commenting on race was pretty hard, Tom was hurt that people didn't get the message, he replied with - This House (Whiteboy response) #HOG UK
Another good reaction. I was always taught to judge people by their character not their colour. I will always respect a good person regardless of race.

The braids bit. I am mixed race. American Indian on one side and Norwegian on the other. Both sides had braids long before they ever encountered anyone from Africa.
Facts!! I’m not saying who had braids or locs first. I was proving a point from my perspective. The way Tom was saying “yuh I’m white but I’m not the white people that divided this country like the Rockefellers and Rothschilds. I can say the same thing with my hair. I get judged on the daily on my hair and certain groups of people are scared to talk to me because they judge me from my hair instead of talking to me. It’s a stereotype that black men with long hair are thugs and criminals

Tom got so much hate for this song. He sees both sides. He's lived in the hood and got along fine. These people were played the song and asked ahead of time. They could leave and still get paid. They all agrred to do the video. People are starting to wake up. #HOG ❤

I'm white and when I look at you I see my son my dad told me as a child to always treat everyone the way I would want them to treat me and I grew up in what alot of people would call a bad neighborhood and we were the only white family for miles around and I was treated like family

One very important distinction is the US government definition of "White is everyone who is not Black" and the common approach of "you are White because your ancestors trafficked in slaves". Has anyone ever asked the Iranians or the Chinese if they want to be White? Pretty sure that most people of Persian descent are going to have some pretty strong opinions on that topic. Can we just track who has English (that excludes the Irish, Scottish and Welch), Spanish, French or Dutch ancestry? That would cover most of the people that had any hand in bringing slaves into this country. Let's point all these fingers in the right direction.

You're spot on saying racism won't go away. It's a terrible thing today and has been for many centuries but at one point in time it was actually a key part of surviving. Back when we lived in caves your "race" or "tribe" was all you could trust. Animals do something like this too. If a new group of people moved in to the cave near yours that means competition, it means you have a new group who isn't one of your group and that means you can't trust them. It's the same as how back in the day hyper aggression saved the lives of primitive humans but today it has no place. We grew passed the need for it, but it's still inside humans and may not ever leave 100% from every person. It's instinct and we all just need to be better than our animalistic instincts.

In my opinion we need to quite putting each other in classes such as African American or Mexican American. If you're born here then we should see each other as Americans as equals. We all want the same things at the end of the day. People hate when i say this but it's the truth!

Yuh I define who I am but the fact that I miss out on job opportunities and etc because a certain group of people feel offended or feel some type of way because of my hair is not my fault. Just like what Tom was saying how black people or other races treat him and other white people crazy because of slavery and other shit. At the end of the day it’s brainwashing on both sides. We gotta learn how to get to know a person before we judge them off of looks
