As a handyman I use the Toptes. Works well for me. It narrows down the area when gas company shuts off gas. Then bubble test confirms leak. I’ve only ever used it on natural gas.
None of these current compact, cheap, and 'feature rich' detectors impress me. Twice in 25 years I've tried 'upgrading' from my simple and basic Tif 8800. Sent them both back. The Tif gets new batteries and sensor every few years, and I love it. 7ppm sensitivity, inexpensive, and screams like a banshee when alarming. Perfect IMO.
Are you the same person who was selling the DVD player on how to install oil boilers? It helped me install my own boiler and it’s still working for 11year
It was my intention to give an honest review of the product. True, it was not able to detect as small of a leak as the Bacharach. But that was a very small leak, probably undetectable with soap bubbles. That said, I would prefer the Bacharach. GFM

My first detector was a Tif 8800. Worked great until I lost it.

Well done.
Thanks.
Shill vibes. You’re too good for that GRAYFURNACEMAN. It literally failed to an old design, Bacharach
