In terms of the way you measured rear seat width, I had measured the width the same way when comparing various hatchbacks. I ended up buying the Ignis for various reasons. But the interesting fact is that, the Ignis rear seat measures 48 inches in terms of the way you measured it in this video. This seems better than the Venue, which is a segment above.
Very practical information, as all cars in India are five seater, but the comfort level varies.
You forgot Nexon....it has very wide n deep seats

Tab pata Chala ecosoport bahut conjusted lagta hai 2 ND row. Laga kab utarega driver. Fir mood off ho gaya . Kyunki mujhe ecosoport bahut pasand tha. Uska front console luxurious dikhta hai sabse.Lekin mere liye 2 nd row sabse important hai. Fir jab xuv 300 ka dekha to Dil khus ho gaya. Seat ka quality bhi. Bas dashboard ecosoport jaisa Sundar nahi hai. Sahi baat Bola apne. Log jyada time baithe Hain piche boot me saman rakhne se. Bootspace kabhi kabhi jaroorat hoti hai. Waise bhi jab urgent ho tab ek spilt seat to fold Kar do.

Thts good how u have done this but xuv is not as comfortable as ecosport. In xuv we got good legroom but underthigh support lacks and seating is low due to which u have to put ur legs little upwards causing bit tiring on longer journeys.

Very well described...especially for the ones who kept on criticizing Venue for the worst legroom. What i personally felt was that the showroom version had black seatcovers wrapped with those air filled polythene covers, due to which the room felt less --- though it wasn't!
Yes you are absolutely right. The legroom is okay, it's just that the shoulder room is a little less. But at this price, it's perfectly fine.

i own a creta.. but i have also driven xuv300.. i am 6feet tall and i cudnot sit comfortably in driver’s position of xuv300.. it seems there is so much space behind in xuv 300 but it lacks in driver’s comfort

Bro u should take help from an 5.10 or 6 ft long person when he seats on front & back seat. So that headroom & legroom can be seen any vehicle.

Great job... Completely what I needed to watch. Not getting any car soon, but still love this one. Mostly people drive alone.. sometimes with two and occasionally with 3 or more. Carrying luggage is very rare.. so no need to have huge bootspace in a compact SUV. Those who travel a lot, need a bigger boot but can surely afford a creta or Seltos.

Hello brother, yeh sab clear kar dete bro. Basically, door width aur door armrest ki size aur position difference ki wajah se jo seat ki width hai usmein farak aa Raha tha. Maine bhi yeh tab notice Kiya jab measure Kiya, pehle nahi pta tha. Aaj hi creta wali video record huyi, aaj hi maine yeh notice Kiya. Agar yeh sab explain karta toh video lambi aur Shyd boring bhi ho jati.

Though boot space is less...it gives decent mileage if driven light foot.... i drove it for 2 days gave 22- 24kmpl on highway

I mentioned in the video that Creta does not belong in this segment but still the width of the overall car and seat width are the same as SUB Compact SUVs. I wasn't able to arrange a nexon in short time.
