I used to hate Jerry Only.. Like many Misfits fans I thought that he was only in it for the money.. Until I went to see them live in 2014. They played a pretty good show. It definitely doesn't beat the original but it was still great. Then after the show Jerry jumped down off of the stage and took pictures and did signatures for anyone. After I met him and actually sat and talked to him I actually realize the he's a really cool genuine guy. He misses the old Misfits just as much as anyone and said he's still in full contact with everyone and wishes that they could all get back together if only for a short tour. He cares about the Misfits and really wants to move forward with the band whether it be with this lineup or with the original or Graves era.
Well... Hell froze over and we are getting it this summer. Hopefully it goes so well that they extend it out and who knows... maybe an ep or full lp.
Misfits reunion!
He doesn't sing as good as danzig, but i gotta admit he does kinda bring the whole original horror punk feel back, and i can appreciate that. Honestly i thought graves was kinda bad, but i think because Caiafa has been in the band since the beginning, he kinda knows what the fuck is up and can get a little deeper into the music than Graves could. Or maybe i was just sour because glenn left..
Original misfits reunion in LA this December!
I met Jerry in 1999 in Atlanta on the Famous Monsters tour, and he was the nicest most genuine dude ever. I have nothing but mad respect for him.
His own brother would've begged to differ at one point in time.
Guess hes really about the fans. Saw the orginal misfits reunion last year 2021 at after shock fest with Metallica and when misfits were playing in between song breaks people started cheating "Jerry Jerry Jerry..." and they did it again at the end and Jerry threw his bass guitar to the crowd at the end and the crowd destroyed the bass trying to get it lol but big ups to jerry for first teasing like he was going to throw it and then actually threw it hahaha

Whenever I see Jerry Only, I really feel his passion and respect for the fans. My friend went to see them and Jerry did not leave the stage until everyone had a picture or autograph. He has been carrying the Misfits on his shoulders for more than 40 years and I am so glad they got together again in the last couple of years. Misfits' biggest fan is Jerry himself!
I love to continue concerts Misfits, which Michale Graves and doyle continue giving concerts ... They are a trade mark all else is anecdotal? I really like that Misfist and each separately continued recording albums!
Wtf...Jerry actually sounds "good" / better than he has done previously. I wish they'd get Graves back though, but I must confess his voice has improved.
I was going to make a similar comment. I've seen some videos where Jerry's voice completely fucks up the song, especially with Dig Up Her Bones.
Graves quality of performances has declined, I would rather have Myke Hideous take over.
SilverTounge85 seriously grass should have never been the misfits singer. Glenn and Manny started the misfits. Kerry dated the girl next to Mannys house. Jerry was the bass player. He didn't right anything he should have never ripped off the fans the original fans. Mike grave and the misfits were nothing like the misfits. They were much closer to jerry and Foyle second band kryst the conqueror which was a Christian metal album. I have no problems with that aspect. It just sounds nothing like the misfits. Why didn't he just call it Jerry A.D. or the jerry only project, the only expetience. Then I wouldn't have had a problem. But growing up as an original misfits can I was very disappointed with the crap they called the misfits. Doyle never even wanted to do it. Kerry had his dad force Doyle into it, hopefully to recoup some of the couple hundred grand they lost on the kryst the c album.

They used to play way too fast when Robo was on drums, that was a big part of the problem.

The Misfits were the shit during the danzig era and they still sound pretty good even without him but after Jerry said on an interview that the Misfits had always been a family band that kind of fucked things up..., you can’t see him now on stage and not think on such a stupid statement it just ruined the magic.

1 year late but in Jerrys defense it was kind of a family band him, Doyle and there older brother Rocky we're a huge part of the misfits even back in the Danzig days, not to mention Jerry's dad helped finance the band in the early days and then later Jerry and Doyle we're financing the misfits, Jerry's deserves this
+KanonMadness ya know what I don't get? I took amateur footage at a Misfits concert as well but it got flagged and taken down because of "copyright infringement".
So I ask you this.. How are YOU allowed to keep your footage up without punishment but my video gets slapped and removed?? Cause this is total bullshit and I wanna know how to avoid that..

I hadn't seen live performances of The Misfits in a while, but I have to say that actually Jerry improved his voice and this drummer is better than Robo (face it).

Danzig is Back in The Band Glenn Jerry Doyle Aseyslade and Dave Lombardo are todays Misfits lineup and its as Original Misfits
