You won’t have to worry about rust if you don’t use metal for the chicken roof. Use the rainwater to wash off the chicken roof to solve the ammonia problem. This type of house is good as a night-time sleep area for the goats.

These goats should be roaming on a grass pastures in their natural environment. Pasture raised Grass fed goats taste way better than factory farmed goats. Confirming these animals into a small area is not the best for them
Pasture isn’t reality natural either. Goats forage over wide areas and putting a herd like this on pasture will require much more parasite management. Most breeders I have talked to prefer dry lots which involves more supplied feed and manure management but at least the goats aren’t getting sick as often and requiring as much worming medications (and parasite resistance to medications is a real problem)
@@benjaminw309 you need to think about the goats. The goats generally roam in open pastures. It’s their natural habitat. Some farms do regenerative agricultural where they move the animals to new pastures everyday. You should go regenerative agriculture. It’s good for the animals and the soil
How about biosecurity issues ? Chickens are very prone to contracting diseases from 'other animals'. And probably vice-versa. Poultry structures should be standalone features, I understand. How do you take care of that ? Besides all that, it's an amazing structure.
