WOW! We spoke too soon on your last video - you've been swimming! You didn't look like it was too cold. Also, Lisa, Nicky is with you on the occasional nerves on some roads. Soon after we had Nellie, we got a little bit 'stuck' and had to do an epic downhill reverse. That last road down to the lake, Nicky said she'd cycle while I drove!! Another great film guys ❤
We've done our fair share of reversing over the past couple of years! 😬 Always in the worst possible place. That's the downside of driving your home around. 😋 We do take the opportunity to swim wherever possible. It's the absolute best especially after a run.
Its actually Old Herzegovina. For stunning roads in Montenegro, I think Njegusi-Kotor is very very interesting, Pluzine dam and Tjentiste in neraby Herzegovina
Two years ago, my friend and I was drive a Durmitor ring with mtb bicycles. It was 100km jorney. I am from Serbia and my wife is from Montenegro, 3-4 times per year we are in Montenegro. Have a nice trip
Must have been incredible on a bicycle! We would love to do it with a motorbike! Lisa will never survive the downhills on a bicycle! She's way too scared! 😋
@@WeWillNomad Next week my router is from Belgrade to Kladovo - Danube route on two wheels. Next time when you visit Serbia my suggestion is this rout because you can see too many interesting thinks.
You are amazing! I hope you had a chance to see the stars above Durmitor. It is one of the rarest places in Europe with light pollution level 2, so Milky way can be seen with naked eye :)
We definitely saw stars the first night! Unfortunately it was overcast the second day but it there was lightning and it was spectacular in another way.
How boring am I, I made notes while watching the video. Loved it guys, thanks for sharing. - glacial lake, layers of colours. Those glacial lakes seemed to have layers of different colours of blue, amazing. - gravestones, I found those very interesting. I know, I'm weird but I actually like graveyards, especially ancient ones. - great driving Andre, Kudos to Andre for navigating those windy narrow roads. - was there snow on some of the hills ? (already answered with Andre bringing his darling a snowball ! the hunter/gatherer has returned... with a snowball ....) - sheep looked like ants in the slow-motion clip. I have to say that I think sheep are the cutest farm animals, that ewe with the horns and lamb had no interest in you guys, she was either looking for the rest of the flock or maybe a lost lamb, besides I'm sure Andre could have taken her is she attacked 🙂 - Its not what I expected, the scenery is stunning, a bit like driving through Connemara. I'm more familiar with the coastal region (from videos etc.) - how cold was the water ? it looked cold... - can't wait to see the coast ! Safe travels.
Hi Ronan! Your notes are extensive! We're impressed! 😋😎 You're right, the ewe was looking for a lamb that stayed with another flock down the hill when they were herded along. We really like the scenery and feeling of space in that part of Montenegro. It's VERY different from the coast and a lot less busy.
U made me cry.😥 I live in Aust 53 yrs I'm originally from Croatia. My late husband was from Montenegro & I have never been there. So I was so sad but happy because u gave me a chance seeing it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ENJOY all your future journeys.♥️😘♥️🍒
Extreme weather has occurred more often the last years with floodings and hail storms that can be quite devastating. I remember a storm sweeping over Croatia and Serbia some years ago with hails as big as tennis balls. Plum sized hails can occur every other year lately.
Good grief, that sounds devastating. We feel like the crazy weather follows us but considering that, it seems we got off lightly! Thanks for watching 😊
Super stuff guys. You travel just like the wife and I. we love the country side and try not to park where people are or in large towns. Stay safe and looking forward to your next clip. 🙂 🇫🇷.
Be wary if you going back through Durmitor or any other mountain pass on Balkans but especially in Montenegro... Because during winter there is too much snow... I remember taking photographs while my father was driving 10 km/h... Long time to winter, but just a friendly advice from Serbian :D
Please add a Serbian translation to your other vlogs, because you have a lot of followers from Serbia, Montenegro and Republika Srpska. Thank you and you are wonderful 💕💮🌺
Thank you for the suggestion! For all vlogs with 'captions available' you can choose to auto-translate to your own language, and it will work the same. But we will go back and add it to previous videos as well.
Didn't know Montenegro was this stunning in the mountains.
We also didn't expect to enjoy the inland region so much! It really is stunning! Thanks for watching! 😊
Whole Montenegro is beautiful and has a lot of mountains like this, google it or come visit ☀️
Absolutely gorgeous but oh those skinny winding roads !! I'm with you Lisa I can't relax either when we're towing our van on roads like that 😵
Spectacular!
Wooah! You just put Montenegro on our bucket list!

Hi, how tall is your car ? we are going there too but the tunnels scare us a bit.
We are just less than 3m. Driving very early morning there is usually less traffic at least! Enjoy! 😉
Lisa, do you ever drive?
Hi Connie, no I don't! I've never driven a left hand drive vehicle 🙈 But at some point I know I will have to! 😊
@@WeWillNomad go on Lis! Make sure you film it so we know 😊
