Winter Lightning, Thundersnow Destroys Home Electronics, HVAC System

Heavy sleet was falling as lightning struck my house, damaging electronics all through the house, including cameras, fans, thermostat, garage door openers, power supplies and my air conditioning unit.
The video doesn’t catch much of the strike as it was on the roof peak, but you do see a chunk of wood falling from the roof and hear earth shattering thunder which instantly deafened us in the house. You’ll also hear my alarm system chirping as the board was fried causing the siren to sound. The cameras show a quick flash and flicker followed by instants thunder.
Video shows a damaged power supply, HVAC team working on AC, failing garage door openers, a damaged Dyson Fan.
