Bummer to hear about the slippery footbed. This is something that Xero just isn't getting right on their sandals, apparently. I have their Z Trail model and the footbed is extremely slippery when wet. Hiking in them has been a disaster. I just started a wearing a pair of Deliberate Life Designs (DLD) sandals and the difference is night and day. They have a true non-slip footbed and the outsole traction is amazing!
I have had two previous pairs of z-trails (without Naboso) and I had the same issue with slippery insoles however not as bad as my partner in this video. The Naboso textured insole seems to have solved the problem though, if you can get your feet used to them.
What is your opinion after 3y, can you adapt to the naboso or better the normal ones? Last year i was on a 2 days city trip and had only the xero sandals, the thinnest ones. I barely made it to destination with blisters, then i couldn't walk for few days and made also an inflammation from side walking. I wear them every summer but for daily stuff, i was wondering if the trail version would be comfortable for longer, but this naboso might be worser actually, in the beginning at least.
After 3 years I am now on my third pair of the Nabosos. I have grown to love them. They are my primary shoe for all activities except for working or for trail running. The sole is just as thick as the regular z-trail but less spongy and the textured insole/footbed is much more grippy for your feet once your feet adapt to the bumpy surface. In my opinion the difficult adaptation to the Naboso is worth it in the long term and I find it has helped me get better at walking completely barefoot on rough terrain.
Well I can't deny that it is a very good hat. It's the Tilley Hemp hat 🤠 Reportedly one such hat was swallowed by an elephant and came out the other side scarcely worse for wear...🐘
Thanks for the unintentional review 😊
Each walk a fabulous free foot massage. First it's strange, then you get hooked to it:-)

Ahhh man it’s hard to watch when the ankle goes! Great video though really enjoyed it!
It wasn't so fun for me reliving that moment either 😂 thanks man, glad you enjoyed it! 👣

I am more curious about your hat than your shoes.
