    Don't give up on that 40 breeder reef! It's an inspiration to a lot of new comers to the saltwater game like myself.
    You might want to look into how your light is doing..it might look the same visually to the eye but that black box might have shifted spectrum and or spread/intensity over the last few years..
    Also Rodi filters might be spent? Anyways always great content cheers👍

      Just changed the filters. Might be the light. Thanks

    I mean saltwater lighting with less blues and more whites is perfect for plants.

      True but it doesn’t have the reds so I wasn’t sure if it would be enough

    Tank looks good. Reminds me of the old 40 breeder planted you had setup.

    Hey Mike! Re the salt water tank. Maybe check with your local water dept. to see if they've made any changes lately especially with the drought we've had this summer. The fresh waters are looking great! BTW I caught my pb largemouth the other day...5lbs 2 oz here on the Cape

      Oh nice. That’s a hog right there. I use RODI so not sure if it’s the town water

    Is that a Brasilienses Geo, Pearl Geo ? Good to see you .. p.s. I never, ever, bought on-line fish until about 2 months ago.. I had a great call with the WetSpot Tropical fish store in Oregon.. I ordered some True Parrots and EBAs and Threadfin Acara.. It was a great experience and awesome fish ! I ordered 2 more times after that.. Great again ! just saying..

    Hey I was wondering if you need a bubbler for a 10 gallon tank with 2 goldfish. Also I like the way your tank looks

    • @MASSAquariums
      @MASSAquariums  3 роки тому

      It’s not necessary but helps with gas exchange

    I've got a 20 gallon so I would of thought an aquaclear 20 or 30 would be ideal for my aquarium but it seems a 50 or 70 would be better, could a 50 work? Saltwater btw

    How do you cycle dry rock before it goes into a completely new tank

    • @MASSAquariums
      @MASSAquariums  4 роки тому +1

      You can use another tank or simply add it to the new tank
