Haha it’s one of my favorites too! To pull that off the animator had to time his animation up to a metronome we pulled off of UA-cam so that we could send a cut of the animation with the right timing to the musician

Yeah, he would have understood the bear if he had. It's understandable that he records the reaction to the fights, but he should watch the analysis offscreen to get a background on the characters.

Fun fact: Yoshi is canonically racist. There was a comic Nintendo made back when they were still doing those, and there was a Yoshis island comic where the Yoshis were talking smack to a black Yoshi saying they’re weird and that they eat baby Yoshis and other stuff like that.
I love how most channels dislike reaction channels for stealing views so Poppt1 uses very little footage.

I remember reading a forum post somewhere, probably during the Brawl days, where people were discussing this question. I believe Bowser was considered the strongest character due to receiving invincibility from the Star Rod from Paper Mario, with a ton of discussions over which characters could feasibly steal the rod from him.

Banjo vs Yoshi is def my favorite. It’s got great music, my main (even though he lost), the best sprite animation so far, and it was a close fight as well. I would personally say Banjo would probably win as he has more basic combat experience (as well as a missed opportunity to have Banjo and Kazooie double team Yoshi since in Banjo Tooie you can control both Banjo and Kazooie separately). Whether I agree with the result or not, it was still really good.

Wario and Yoshi winning aren't surprising as they don't really have "hp" in the normal sense. Heck like it's been said, attacking Wario may just make him stronger. Banjo's main shot at beating Yoshi would be at the volcano (smacking him into the lava)
