Love how you put the perspective of the weight loss differences between the two time frames from the 6 months pre op and the 1 month post op. I know I tend to get caught up in the current day to day and not reflect on the big picture and that definitely helps remind me to take a step back and remember to look at things as a whole.
    Keep it up Aubrey! :-)

OMG Aubrey, I completely missed out on your surgery!! You look so fantastic, and happy, and just glowing! I am just catching up on all your vids since surgery. I am sorry you had to deal with a collapsed lung...scary. You have been so real and honest with everything you have through over this last month, I really appreciate that. Keep it going girl, you are changing so much already!! : )

+Aubrey In Wonderland I am doing good. Still not giving up on getting surgery. Another month maybe depending on my husband's new (again) job. I have missed everyone!

You're looking thinner already! Great loss this week. That puppy of yours is super cute! Those chipotle black bean burgers are so yummy, aren't they?

In my 10th week I ate salad. My Surgeon saw it was ok but don't eat to much, REALLY, we can't eat much. I ate 1/2 cup. Ironically I ate some cookies to test my pouch and I did not get dump, , but I was tired and went to sleep. I did not put the two together until your video, thanks. I had a really bad reaction to the laxative tea. It was like a bad, bad case of dumping. I described it in my video, but what I did not say, is I think I passed out for a few minutes. Won't do laxatives again. You are doing great

You're Doing great. It takes time to get the amount of water we need. I also am in the moderation camp.

You can definitely see your face thinning. If you do have a number stall I bet your inches will change. I'm so glad that everyday is better for you. This week was by far my best.Of course, I identified with what you said about loss, and LOVED the point that right now we aren't really in our new normal yet. And that we haven't gotten to enjoy the gains yet. Such a great point and so encouraging! One thought on doing cucumber and tomato, maybe add some feta cheese for protein. We have a local Greek restaurant that offers that as a side. Theirs also has red onion. Yum!

Congrats on all your losses so far! Lol, 🍔, exactly that size too! It took me a good 6-7 weeks to feel somewhat normal again. My portions are still extremely small, even compared to most VSGers, but i can now eat anything without fear of it getting me sick or it getting stuck. I also found the same solution to get water in was the same as yours. I had to back off on food. We get so excited that we can eat, and we don't realize how much time it takes up, until we are looking at the stats and seeing only 2 glasses of water, lol, and its not like we can force it down anymore. Looks like you got this, and it will all be somewhat normal soon, lol.

Dang girl!!! Over 4 pounds this week=awesome!!! Woot woot!!! Amazing!!! Glad therapy is going well!! I probably should start that!!! Keep on trucking along!!! I promise it will get better!!! I eat salad and it's great! No problems. But I'm VSG so.... I still eat a lot like you're eating now but feel like I can try a bite of almost anything. Are you taking an antacid? I was not tolerating much food either, and my doc made me start taking Pepcid. Boy did that help!!! He explained it to me at the time but I can't remember all that he said. All I know is it SO helped me!!! On the cheeseburger craving, I always just promise myself a bite! I tell my husband it's his diet!! Lol. I take a bite of his, less on his heart and belly and I get my bite!!! You'll get there girl! It's just a matter of time!! 💗👍🏻😉😘🌈🦄🎢

+Aubrey In Wonderland The antacid doesn't only help with the aches, it will also help you eat a little more!!! Do it girl!! 💗

You look great, my friend. Can't quite do lettuce yet, but tomatoes seem to be ok. I have been treating myself to diced watermelon (shhh). It really hit the spot though. So good. There will probably be foods that you abstain from just because they don't feel good (potatoes for me) but moderation seems to be a realistic way to go. Keep up the good work! You're looking fabulous.

🍔 cheeseburger!!! I hear ya!! I want one from a local place called Cowaburger. They have an amazing mushroom and Swiss one. I never ate the bun, even before surgery though. I could so have a couple bites right now, lol!

Hi Aubrey! I appreciate you sharing your journey. I have my RNY in 19 days! So I was thinking about your protein shake problem. I was wondering if it would work to get the unflavored protein powder and maybe mix it with your yogurt or tuna salad, etc. so you get that in easier? Don't know, just a thought! You're looking great, keep up the good work!

I can't believe you're a month out! Soon the wins of your decision will out weigh everything else. Try caprese salad...Tomato and bocconcini (fresh mozzarella balls) with some balsamic vinegar. You're looking thinner btw. I know you'll feel better soon,. Hope it's really soon...xo
