Yes, and oddly enough, it plays much better streamlined when you don't have to constantly shoot or search for resources. It's also a lot more fun to outsmart your opponents instead of just shooting them down. Somehow this approach fits Gorden Freeman and the Half Life franchise much better than what you actually do in HL1 and HL2.
I love that this mod shows the origin of the Gravity Gun with you sending the R&D data to the resistance before the gunship attack, possibly even a recording of the fight as a demonstration of the device.

The puzzles in this mod were next level for sure and this is one of the mods I never got to finish back in the day due to how difficult to get through them is. Major props to the author.

@@GoldKnightProduction we see zombines in isolated places like white forest, the old parking garage, or zombie overrun outposts, the episodes are more open, out in the wild, there was zombines before the citadel explosion, trust me
