Jessie J girl you did a masterful rendition of a great classic, the only sad note for me, I wish Prince was still living when you did this 'insane' interpretation, either way whenever Prince is right now, there is a huge smile across his face, well done Jessie, the Chinese language addition at the very end, was a master stroke! Thank You! Jesse J got me too. The show is Singer, a talent show in China for professional singers. With this song, I fell in love with Jesse J. This show also produced Dimash Kudaibergen who is Kazakh, from Kazakhstan in 2017. He was a wild card on the show and took China by storm. By the end of the show, they wisely had him under contract and he is currently performing in Concerts on a World Tour. He has fan clubs springing up all over the world. His first concert Bastau look to be going to get Concert of the Year. He just received the award for most Popular Singer of the Year at the Chinese New Years festival and was a guest singer there. She was hospitalized due to her heart condition and she couldn't make it to the next Episode but the contestants voted for her to stay in the competitions and she went back, She sang My Heart will go on and it was out of this world.
This is what it sounds like when you out do the original version.
I had really similar reaction, and felt like she was missing his creativity the way we all do when she crossed her arms over her chest after the guitar solo.
