Just to add balance let me tell you a true story concerning the great Michael Caine in the late nineties he came in to a small restaurant that a friend of mine called Sue worked in, it was only about 11 o'clock and all he wanted was coffee and some toast, Sue served him but after a couple of minutes the owner went over to see him and after came back to the kitchen area and started to loudly tell Sue that the toast was burnt and she should not of served it to him as it could harm the restaurants reputation, anyway there was a cough and there stood Michael Caine he told the owner that he had specifically asked for well done toast as that was how he liked it (he hadn't at all but must of overhead the Conversation not only that but he gave Sue a really good tip and signed a napkin with a really sweet note that said he understood how hard she worked and thank you for the great service.

Especially with Rudy!
True man! I've listened to quite a few and this is the best by far.
As a bartender for a long time, i just realized i'm in the wrong business...
I was laughing so hard about Santino being uncomfortable with the dude making a big deal with the picture, I feel like that everyday in every situation when ppl take forever to do a simple task lol
One of my first jobs was at a quick service soup restaurant in downtown Chicago. We had a policy that customers couldn't touch the soup kettles for safety and health reasons. I was having a bad day and a man in a nice leather jacket with a beautiful woman on his arm walks in and immediately starts sticking his face in the kettles to smell the soups. We were trained to politely take the ladle and lid from them and ask if they wanted a sample. This man immediately became annoyed and had this big attitude with me. He started ordering by just pointing at the soups he wanted and saying "I want two of this, one of this, give me 3 lobster bisque, 1 clam chowder and extra bread!" I was so frustrated that I never even looked him in the eye. I take him down to the register to pay and he pulls out a huge wad of cash and starts going through $100 bills one by one until he got to a $50 (it took him awhile!). After the transaction, one of my co-workers has a smile on his face and said "Do you know who that was?!" and I quickly responded "Yeah, a F'n asshole!" and everyone was like "Dennis Quaid!!!". I didn't believe them until I checked the cameras in the office and Yup that was D Quaid. I still hate him to this day and refuse to watch any of his movies. Everyone knows Randy Quaid is better Hahahaha
I've heard the same from flight attendants that have met him.
I waited tables and bartended for a few really nice restaurants that a lot of celebrities would go to when i lived in New Orleans. I never had a problem with entitlement from any of them. All of them were really cool and tipped very well. Vince Vaughn was the coolest ever tho. After he was done eating he came up to the bar and bought me some drinks and hung out with me and my friend for like 45 mins just talking. Super awesome dude!
I love the Bad Friends podcast. It's awesome and just authentic chats.

I am a nobody, grew up in a small town farming in Maine. Later in life I’m in California with some friends and one of my friends is the manager of this club/restaurant. So no dress code no waiting not pat down just walk right in. I step outside and this woman walks by to go into the club, I said hello and try to spark a conversation, she straight ignored me like I was not even there. I thought “ well okay, she is not obligated to speak to me” so I am going back towards the door to get back in and I see her trying to get past the bouncer and rope and he’s not letting her in, he sees me coming, pushes her to the side and opens the rope. The look on her face was priceless, and she immediately tried to talk to me and say she was with me and I said “nope, I don’t know that lady” felt great!

There's people who act like this even when they're not "famous". I would just feel so weird looking for special treatment.

Damn I love the banter between them
That’s nonsense. Just tip 100% the bill the server will be thrilled. Does anyone not understand how many people think a comped meal means they don’t have to tip either?
Exactly. Just pay the bill for the waitress. 200%, what a load of cods wallop
Yeah its bs lol
As well as a comped meal pays for NONE of the service. And someone who is serving your ass, damn sure NEEDS that $$.
I highly doubt they even paid 200%
lol the funniest moment in my life was when I was at a mall and my buddy saw someone famous and just went "hey, tim good to see ya, how are things?" and the guy HAD to engage in a conversation not sure if he was supposed to know him or not 😂before I recognized them I thought it was my buddies good life long friend.
I love how Bobby Lee goes " Tee-HeeHee-Hee " on his own.
Great stories!
Why is no one talking about the sarcastic "I think it's fair"?..eheheh!
Seemed more like he felt guilty that he was trying to get special treatment even though he knew it was unfair to me! Sarcasm doesn’t seem right to me!
Listening to your podcast is like standing in line at a restaurant.
Fucking love when bob was like “ I think that’s fair” at the end lool
Corey Crawford once went to a Chicago sportsbar I worked at. I calmly and respectively asked him to take a picture with me and he turned me down because of "public appearance" and made me feel like I was being annoying. So for him to fan out and approach Rogan and be treated like he's a nobody (like us common folk) feels like Karma

get a RAT TAIL Bobby! lol
If you look at the thumbnail at the end of the video, it looks like Bobby is playing the harmonica.
thank you for the best laugh i had in years
Damn, you forget the struggle pretty quick when you become famous
Or, if you're like Rogan, you forget being human. He gets annoyed when he gets recognized, yet uses his star power knowing he can get what other people can't (and by getting what he wanted in that steak house, he was backing up service for everyone else; guaranteed he set wait times for every other table back 30 minutes or more, with all the steak they were pushing out for his table).
Funny thing about the human mind is that it recognizes negative things very easily. In nature the humans that weren't obsessed with the negative aspects of the current situation didn't do as well, so we're kinda stuck with the relatively pessimistic psychology regardless of how much better it objectively gets
I would imagine the ppl that have became bobbys gaming crew are pretty stoked to have randomly befriended bobby Lee
I love whomever mixed the intro and exit music for this show! Also if I'm ever fortunate enough to sit down with Joe Rogan for a meal at a restaurant, I hope that it's at a legit Texas brisket house...hey a guy can dream right? lol
Damn, how relatable.
My biggest takeaway from this story is that Jordan Peele seems like a pretty cool and down to earth dude
imagine being so entitled because you tell jokes for a living that you're mad because you don't get seated the second you walk into a restaurant
It's good that he recognized how childish that is but it doesn't make it any better. He still behaved that way and will again lol. Just remember though, when they're NOT asking for special treatment or a free meal and they shove it down their throat to kiss their ass that's on the restaurant. Just let the ginger eat in peace.
Bobby deserves a table right away anywhere

I understand having to finish what the chef prepared for you, but why tip 200% when the food is free, why not just 50%. What's the point of getting your food free?
It's a gesture not arithmetic
@@chasestanley2906 true, but once you start to complain about paying double, it becomes about numbers

Bobby made it seem like there's only two restaurants at the Irvine Spectrum(Improv) lmao
Good way to alienate the ordinary people who listen to this
By expressing their experiences? They're not gloating, they're talking about what actually happens. Andrew literally said he just wants to pay and for it not to be weird and then told a story when that went south. That's not on him that's on the restaurant.
