sick video 🔥, also what would you say is the average water temp in rhode island during the summer june-september? been wanting to take a trip for a while but i only have a 3/2 may need a thicker suitb
Awesome man. Two questions- what rocks should I watch out for on this peak, and does it work on a straight south swell? Figuring out my options for Saturday coming from the Cape
@@colter7300 honestly there is rocks all over the place. Keep an eye out for boils in the water as the swell suck up. That a good way to tell where there might be a rock or a hole That point holds a lot of swell directors especially if the swell has size.
@@bobbyzeolla5208 thanks man. I hit trestles. Was really good from 7 to 10 (although an aggressive lineup). Went out again later and got a lot more in the sun. definitely was a great day checking out a new spot. I’m really not used to anything that isn’t steep, empty beach break 😂 next time I go I’ll hit a less intense peak. Looking forward to your vid
@ it’s amazing. But not the best for getting good at maneuvers. Way harder to get turn or cutback reps in than at a rocky point break or reef. I still totally suck and surfing RI is great practice… not good enough to take advantage of those mega tube days here!
Looks fun

@@eveningglass you should be good in a 3/2 if it’s in good shape.
@@eveningglass the water is fairly warm in the fall, but you can get some chilly mornings.
