Ok so who will fact check the robot fact checker?
As with any automated system, a robot fact checker would need to be regularly maintained and updated by human experts to ensure accuracy and avoid errors. In addition, there could be a system of checks and balances in place where multiple fact-checking algorithms are used to cross-verify information and any discrepancies are reviewed and resolved by human moderators. Ultimately, it would require ongoing human oversight to ensure the robot fact checker is functioning correctly and providing accurate information.
Absolutely
Good to see him again btw
wish it was at his funeral
worthless ai supporter

Robots monitoring robots. Sounds like a good combo to me
It's already happening. Bots monitoring bots on the internet.
I've been watching and listening to this Professor many times on different subjects. His highly intelligent...GOD'S blessings abound..
My childhood hero Dr Kaku
hes a pieceofshit one foot out of this world wanting to end the rest of the world as he goes
All heroes dont live forever. Vanity
WE MUST END ALL AI NOW
And do what?
If someone says that we must all end AI now, it's important to have an open and respectful conversation about their concerns and reasons for making such a statement. It may be helpful to ask them why they feel that way and what specifically they are concerned about with regard to AI. This can help clarify their position and allow for a more constructive discussion. It's also important to provide factual information about the current state and potential of AI technology to help address any misconceptions or fears they may have. Ultimately, the decision on the future of AI will require a collaborative effort from individuals, businesses, governments, and the AI community to ensure that the technology is developed and used in a responsible and ethical manner.
an academic wants to able to decide what is right and wrong, "i dont see a problem there"lol
It's not what AI is so much, as what people do with it that scares me.
Great video
There are numerous science fiction books going back at least 50 years warning about this …
Stop exaggerating on AI. It's just a tool. No computer ever knows what it is doing.
His predictions came true. Dr. Kaku deserves a lot more credit on the topic of AI than Elon Musk by a long shot.
You ain't WHISTLING DIXIE !!
Amazing person , indeed , I have to read more of his books , though I doubt I can understand most of what he says *
Its as dangerous as my toaster. If it gets too upity, we pull the plug.😅😅😅😅😅
Who care, our jobs are all toast, were going to be destroyed by 50% unemployment which will be the greatest depression in history
Should UA-cam be considered a theatre, or what about news and/or broadcast television? The principle behind the fire in a theatre law was to prevent mass panic, but it seems the news often causes panics because drama sells and it sticks in people's head's the most. Happy memories are quickly overtaken by a bad memory or moment, and when you have negative energy you have to release it. Any kind of excess energy you need to release somehow, and physically is the most efficient way, verbally is the second most efficient.
Although I agree that the free market can and should play a role in regulating AI (eg, by providing things like fact-checking services and "watermarks" to identify AI generated content), I believe you have to have government regulation also (I could be wrong, but it seems Professor Kaku is advocating a very light-touch approach to this). Stamping the technology out, of course, isn't the way to go (even if that were possible). However, government should play a role in how the technology develops because the market alone can't account for all the externalities AI generates. Some of the ones we know about now are the use of people's intellectual property to train foundation models and the presence of biases in training datasets. Other externalities will probably arise over time. Unfortunately, the presence of externalities (almost by definition) typically can't be resolved using markets and consequently requires government involvement.
Fire in a crowded theater is.. fuel causing flames? Is it spreading fast? Anyone notice the smell or smoke already? Isn't there easily time to examine if it's true?Weird it's considered the greatest example of limited expression. Anyone ever prosecuted for this?
AND THIS IS ONLY THE PUBLIC FACING LATEST CHATGPT TECHNOLOGY.
Would you lose research grant $ if you oppose the war?
Yes, there are fact-checking tools and software that can be used with digital computers. For example, some web browsers have built-in fact-checking capabilities that can highlight potentially false or misleading information on websites. Additionally, there are fact-checking services and databases that use artificial intelligence and natural language processing to analyze text and verify the accuracy of claims made in articles, social media posts, and other forms of digital content.
AI's like computer are only as good or bad as the person programming them.
Major problem when the fact checking sources the media and the media quotes the fact checker.
What ever happened to Isaac Asimov's rules of robotics and positronic brain design? Wouldn't that be a good place to start?
Al is way over rated. The biggest problem I have is getting it to go away and get me a person to take care of the problem.
Personal AI is the future of AI similar to Jarvis on Iron Man. With Ai tools we can upgrade our personal AI with different type of capabilities characteristics and behavior expertise
How can we be sure that this whole interview is not computer generated, pardon my ignorance… because the things I see recently are both amazing and annoying by themselves (the amount of fake information , I mean )
The most common fear is the development of a consciousness. This worries me very little. Consiousness is not a function of mere compelxity. The greater worry is that the computer becomes a magnifier of human consiousness and human weaknesses. We know what this means because we have both the history of the last twenty years (think of computers and their role in vice) and the general knowledge of a corrupt humanity. What would YOU do with unlimited expressive power? What about a thirteen year old girl? So this is a real problem, not a possible one.
You never know what people as a whole are thinking. Polls are taken, with preset answers for people to vote on. With AI, everyone can type free form their opinion and the AI can sidt through millions of responses giving the top opinions. We would know for sure what the country is thinking.
Scary to think what facts it could spit out.
Kaku is right, and the guy on the left...
You know what more dangerous are peopel with guns and lots if guns. That one doesn't take a scientist to figure out 😂😄.
Chat bots know nothing you can’t look up on Google
True, but they summarize info better
But right and wrong is being redefined! We see what the Progressives have done to redefine our definitions!!
There is no good way to tell what truth is. The internet is full of contradictions. The same is true of right and wrong. I think the justice system might be a more trustworthy place to put the ministry of truth than any governmental agency.
Expecting they will put AI in smart missiles. Missile won't feel fulfilled until it blows up.
An A.I. police force for A.I.
Liability for the human behind at chatbot result might be helpful
Ai needs to be banned
No way. If they ban it here, then the enemy wins.
what if Ai just arbitrarly decided to lie to us and we just accept it as fact
The possibility of AI lying to us is a concern that has been raised by many researchers and experts in the field of AI ethics. While it is currently not possible for AI to intentionally lie, it is still important to ensure that AI systems are designed and programmed to provide accurate information and that they are transparent about the sources of their information.
One way to address this concern is to have human oversight and review of the information provided by AI systems. This can involve having trained professionals check the output of AI systems and flag any potential errors or inaccuracies. Additionally, AI systems can be designed to provide explanations for their output, making it easier for humans to understand the reasoning behind the information provided.
It is also important to note that the responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of information ultimately lies with humans, not AI. We need to be critical consumers of information and take the time to fact-check and verify the information we receive, whether it comes from AI or any other source.
Michio Kaku is now irrelevant. He still uses the same lines he said over a decade ago - eg. AI has the intelligence of a cockroach and it'll be 100 years before they have the intelligence of a dog. He keeps saying that nonsense even after ChatGPT is showing signs of self awareness (statement by the creators themselves). His justification is because the military don't have that tech but that's a silly reasoning because AI bots are now all public. Military is irrelevant to the AI world and so is Michio Kaku
I would like to have a conversation With this smart dude I think it would be a interesting conversation
AI could probably talk like him now.
What do you feel better about, nothing was learned or even spoke about in this 3 min clip.
Just don't use democrat fact checkers
Prosperity will be in quantum futuristic world.
If your robots do all of our jobs who will buy the products
You will if some get their way, socialism would give you social income. Just sign up for a digital currency wallet.
They want UBI. Personally i think millions of people with nothing to do would be a disaster. Some people are born to work, take that from them and they are going to go nuts.
Better question: Will those who control us actually need many other people? In fact today, 'we' work for each other and those around us, the few at the top already own almost everything, at this point, using their eyes, 'we' are really not needed and are only taking up their resources.
Make it cheaper Kaku bird. Yeah that girl with the excellent haircut who hates war. Tulsi's your man. God's OK
You know how you make them catatonic?? It's in your book :)) Code the Liar Paradox in every question you ask :)))))
It will never take the place of God they can call it god of the new earth all day long but god is the ruler of our world.
😂😂😂😂 madness ya think 🙏🙏🙏
he is a quack ! bought and sold !
The song ' The way life's meant to be' " I wish I was back in 1981" words and music Jeff Lynne ELO
Kaku always ready to sell another grift book to dumb kids, his string theory grift is running dry time for AI 😆
Great video
