I appreciate your review on Azamara Pursuit….we went on our first Azamara in 2013 for our 25th wedding anniversary……now we are going on the Pursuit to celebrate out 35th…..looking forward to the white night.
Awww, happy anniversary to come! What a great way to celebrate. 🍾 hope you enjoy the night as much as we did - we did our first dance at the white night (never did it at the wedding), so it holds a special place in our hearts for celebrating weddings!

Oh lovely very jealous!! If you go to the specialists restaurants on the first night to sort bookings they’ll have an itinerary of every night. Not sure if there’s a better way but that’s how we found out! Just took a picture of the itinerary. Had all the info of when things like white night, azamazing evening, and themed buffet nights were.
We only did laundry once mid-cruise.. every machine was taken from before it even opened and we had to line up and wait, but people were courteous of who was there before them so it wasn’t too bad. No fights going on for machines!
@@BethandDavidCruise You can meet the most interesting people in the laundry. I once met the wife of the shipboard magician there, she was lovely, he was great, and I introduced them to both Affogato, which they had never heard of.
@@grandpaears8746 I agree! Although there was a line when I went to do laundry, everyone’s so nice and respectful and everyone respected the order of people turning up/having put their clothes in line for machines.
@@grandpaears8746 that’s so exciting! We’re back on Azamara in less than 3 weeks and we really can’t wait. It’s worth going all that way for! And Iceland is just amazing, no place like it. Have fun!
@@grandpaears8746 but take sea sick tablets with you just in case! The one time I did it was on a bigger ship and if the weathers not your way you’ll need the medicine😂
@@BethandDavidCruise Nah. We don't get seasick. Been across the Tasman a few times. Carpet bowls can make their own sinusoidal track. On one trip I asked a waiter if it ever got rougher. He said "See that piano over there? I've seen it upside down."
Just left Azamara Pursuit, whist the food was excellent beware of White Night - I ordered the free house lager but they. ‘Had just run out’ so supplied Amoretti - credit card billed 15 euros per small bottle. Soft drinks - the glass is filled to the brim with ice which only takes half can of drink, the next customer is given the rest of the can. Stupid stunts like this ensure I won’t be coming back.
Interesting to hear! We’re back on Azamara in a few weeks and can’t wait for the white night. But we don’t really drink much so hoping this won’t be an issue for us. Would be really angry if we got charged for something like that though. I’m sure if you took it to customer service they would take it off - I complained about the wifi I bought and they removed the charge. Considering the drinks are included in the fare I’m not surprised they may be filling it with more ice than drink. Overall I think it’s great value, but if you really like a drink a certain way or type of drink, then perhaps not so good 😭 it’s unfortunate you had a bad experience!
@@BethandDavidCruise Thanks for taking time to reply. My favourite cruise company is Silversea, had a superb time in Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea last year and sailing around New Zealand with them later this year. Expensive but a real treat.
@@badgastein2 we haven’t tried silversea but heard so many good things, would love to try one day. I tried Seabourn but it was a long time ago but loved it. By the way, David is a Cruise Connoisseur at Panache Cruises (luxury travel agent) and they do really great prices on Silversea and other luxury lines. If you don’t already use a TA I highly recommend as they can get you great deals. If you’re thinking of booking any more, email david at David.wilburn@panachecruises.com and I’m sure he can get you the best price around. Sounds like you cruise a lot so it’s worth it trying!
Simply love white night , everybody enjoying themselves. I wish Azamara would stop the premium drinks drive on this occasion. It just effects the feel good feeling as it seems your being nickled and dimed . Sales pitch city encroaching on fun times , not good Azamara !
Interesting, we weren’t pushed for the premium package once I don’t think (except maybe when we boarded). Guess it depends on the ship and crew on at the time! White night is the best though 😍

As someone who cruises frequently, I can say this was my least favorite cruise. Chef table had no vegetarian option, the internet was terrible, booking was a nightmare. I could go on. I will never sail with them again!! 100%
Oh no!! What’s your favourite line to go on? This was one of our favourite but we love Celebrity the best. Have to admit I bought the wifi and it was so awful I complained and got my money back - I forgot about that one! They need to get onto star link like the other lines. We booked through a travel agent so I think they shouldered the negative end there!
You need to be more specific ! How could they not have vegetarian options ,any of the meat options have vegetables to go with them , why isn’t that enough ?

Absolutely agree. Love Azamara but I’m afraid it’s becoming two tiered like so many others.

We have been on 14 Azamara Cruises and they always some vegetarian meals or you can just ask and they will make you one not a fair comment from you
