Jonathan did a session with Pavarotti's voice coach, who told him his voice was 'perfection'. Jonathan was only 18 years old.

I think it was more that the coach told Jonathan that there was nothing more he could teach him. That is an enormous credit to whoever coached Jonathan in high school who also had the wisdom to pair him up with Charlotte. I don't doubt Jonathan has an inate understanding of singing and certainly a natural talent. Still, a novice could not know all of the finer points or posture, breathing, etc.

HIS STORY IS ONE OF SUFFERING AND SUCCESS HE WAS BULLIED ALL THE TIME FOR BEING BIG BUT NOW HE LAUGHS AT ALL THOSE BULLIES. HE IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SINGERS.

Jonathan is an amazing singer
When Jonathan was a duo with Charlotte in a Britain's got talent audition - he walked onto stage - and - sadly - his appearance and weight - evoked an 'assumption' - by the audience, the viewer and in Simon Cowell. Clearly in Simon Cowell's initial reaction - you could tell by his tone of voice that he was expecting something cringeworthy. Then, Jonathan opened his mouth - and sang. It was the biggest goose-bump inducing moment of pure, amazing talent I've ever witnessed on a televised talent show. I am so glad he has found the success he deserves.

The same thing happened to Susan Boyle. The judges were very cynical and the audience ridiculed her. When she said that she wanted to be like Elaine Page you could easily lip read a woman in the audience saying "She's mad"! And this before she even started singing. Tragically society is very quick to negatively judge people because of how they look. Values have become very shallow indeed.

Jonathan was invited to be part of the annual Carols In The Domain 2023 Sydney Australia. Where he sang in front of an audience of 30,000 people! He sang The First Noel (Beautifully) and was honored to sing the #1 voted carol O Holy Night as the last solo performer before the Grande Finale. The next week the concert was televised across Australia and on the internet.

I love Jonathan Antoine. First saw him on Britain's Got Talent, and have liked him since then. He's amazing.
I will not say that Jonathan is the next Pavarotti for like Pavarotti he's uniquely special he is however in the same class as Pavarotti. He is a member of a select group of vocalists whose work will resonate through time for generations to come.

The fullness of his voice and flawless pronunciations along with technical dynamics at this young age places him in the Gigli, Caruso, Lanza, Pavarotti, Iglesias and etc. class of golden voices. The future is excited in anticipation awaiting the fullness of this young man's great voice. No living person matches this voice presently. There are many dynamic and supergifted singers out there but who can match Jonathan Antoine ? Even come close. Potts was close but no cigar. May Potts R.I.P. thanks for the making of this video and sharing it !

I have known him since his first audition on Britain’s got Talent when he was 16. He has enormous Talent and has produced LPs. He is now years older and better.
Jonathan was 17 when he and Charlotte, who was 16, appeared on BGT. Jonathan is multi-talented, very good natured, lives at home with his parents and sister, and loves cats.

That is something i notice about listening to Jonathan sing. The song is always over before I was ready for it to end. However long he sustains a note, I have not done with hearing it before the next note begins. The sounds are as lustrous and perfectly round as pearls that will drop yet not remain but a moment in the palm of my hand.

He was a shy, sensitive, and bullied teenager and a classmate named Charlotte Jaconelli knew his voice and convinced him to do a duet with her on BGT. She was in it for personal ambition but she would never have made it beyond the audition without Jonathan. In all fairness, without Charlotte's encouragement, we may never have known Jonathan. Watch that BGT video and watch Jonathan become world renowned with one song.
So what? Aren't MOST people who go on those shows do it for personal ambition?
She is a successful West End performer, in her own right. It was their mutual vocal coach who thought to pair them, and it helped him immeasurably. He refused to part with her, on the show, choosing to potentially be dismissed, rather than take Simon’s “advice”. That they parted ways later, by mutual agreement, to further separate careers, is simply how life works. They both scored, and she is very very happy doing what she is doing, knowing that her friend is making millions happy, wowing every audience he performs for.

I remember the first time I saw this young man, on Britain's Got Talent... and how utterly terrified he was. He was just a kid... with his singing partner.... And the look on Simon Cowells face. He was what... 16 or 17?

I fell in love with Jonathan the first time he was in the talent show!He was so precious and yes, he surprised everyone insanely when he opened up his mouth. He is my favorite now as he still exudes that innocence and humility as he shares with us his fantastic talent. Every time I listen to him, it brings tears to my eyes as he is such an incredible singer. Thank you for this, I could tell by your reactions how much he touched you too! I would love to go to a concert with Jonathan if one ever came close to our area to see him in person 🙂

I can't believe you never heard of Jonathan Antoine, he's been around as far back on You Tube as 2012 if not sooner. I saw him first on BGT. and also heard the remark that Simon Cowel made "Just when you think it can't get any worse" when he saw Johathan and Charlotte walking on stange and he blew them away. and today he is ranked as one of the world top Tenor/singers. world renown, He's in a class with Pavarotti keep your eye on him great guy and humble to the bone. what you see is what get. it's not hard to tell Im a fan. thanks for shariing . I don't understand why this man isn't way way more famous. I would chose to have this mans voice over the ability to fly.
Jonathan Antoine is a great singer from Britain Has Talent. But I would not normally watch your show to enjoy the singing. Having to look at the Host's animated face is a bit of a put-off from the actual reason for the clip. And his laughter is typically annoying.
The lockdowns for close to two years stalled his career. Jonathan keeps us updated on Facebook, Instagram,and is in progress of recording a new album.
I heard he's huge in Europe and Canada. The US is a little slow because we stupidly let our celebrities take up all our focus.

Jonathan had concerts booked in several States, then they were canceled due to the Lockdowns.etc. Just before last Christmas, Jonathan had concerts in Canada,and the States,but two or three were canceled. Jonathan is in Los Angles, California for two performance at the Disney concert center(Hall) . 10th ,17th, of December. Plus, he will be recording his new album there in California.
The album will be released 23rd of February 2023

You may had never heard of him but I’ve watched him since he first came on and Simon didn’t believe in him at first. So happy for Johnathan a gift from the Almighty to us.
Johnathon is just the loveliest, most pure-hearted soul, as well as a phenomenal talent. His first appearance was with his best friend Charlotte on 2012's Britain's Got Talent; he was just seventeen years old, painfully shy - and was treated with disdainful condescension by Simon Cowell and pretty much the entire audience, purely because of his appearance and weight. And then he sang... it is the most heart-bursting, tear-inducing moment of television you'll ever see; his little hand was shaking with nerves, but he was nailing it. They came second overall (to a blimmin' PERFORMING DOG, but that's a whole other crapshow of a story...) but he's since gone on to a very successful career spanning five albums so far. And he was recently interviewed on 'Lorraine' - and it's so lovely to see that he's as grounded and pure-hearted as he ever was, while his confidence has grown immensely from the shy young teen he once was. Damn, he has a wise head on his shoulders too - it's hard to believe he's only twenty-seven years old!

Saw this amazing- Still so young Tenor- premiering this in his live concert in The Winter Garden Theatre - Toronto- He did it as an encore! after singing his heart out for the whole concert! It was the most exciting time I had ever had in the theatre!(and I'm an actress lol!) The Audience was Ecstatic- It Was Pure Theatre Magic!- I only Wish This Beautiful Voice was not constantly compared to the Legend that is Pavarotti-Music is so subjective and though obviously a great Voice -Pavarotti will Never Move Me As This Voice does- A Honey Cream & Chocolate Voice that wraps round you like a velvet glove! Thank you for a lovely reaction- His Version Of Caruso would be good!

After Jonathan and his former duet partner Charlotte Antonelli, also a great singer, were on Britain's Got Talent they toured Europe and met with famous vocal coaches all over the continent. Jonathan sang for Pavarotti's coach who to Jonathan that there was nothing that he could improve him on, that he already at age 17 had it all.
