Get 1200 km a tank on country road. I have a 2010 E350 4matic sports. In last 8 years replaced oil, plugs once, tires, brakes front only, 1 coil, blower for ac. Keep car in garage when not driving.
I recently bought one and mine has the panaromic roof . It's a 2010 white 2 door 3.0 V6 with 227k mileage on clock, I paid £3k.
Very fast, drives great and fun to drive though I do have to change out the fuel injector seals.

Is there a 2/2.1ltr version of this? Thinking about getting one of these but at 22 I don't want to imagine what the insurance would be like on the 3.0!
Francis Todd Unfortunately even the e220 CDI is around group 35 insurance
There is... 2.1 with 170 and 204 bhp.
The maintenance difference isn't that much and you'll really be pleased of the V6 smooth power delivery and torque :)
The 2.1 often had injector issues and other defects. The 3.0 is an engine that has been refined over years and years and is very reliable.
I have the 3.5 litre insurance is bad and fuel

Yes ..comfort..sport and manual "flappypaddle"

The E350 CDI is a 3.0 V6
I own one of this and I can tell you the mpg is much worst than that( 28 mpg and driving like my grandpa and the space in the back is bigger than most of the coupes out there and is not that terrible. (You are seating way too far from the steering wheel mate, you cant reach the top of the steering wheel from that position lol.)
The mirrors on this car are from a facelift I think.
no sorry i cant agree, Ive used one of these on several occasions and i get way more than that, from memory mid to high 40's also i sit where i am comfortable and i usually put the seat forward when i get in the back to make more room, plus the wrists and steering wheel thing is an old wives tale, where i sit and why ua-cam.com/video/anG2atZ7EHA/v-deo.html
@@BarrieCrampton Lol if you're getting those sort of figures out of it then you must be driving it like a grandad in an Austin Maestro on a Sunday afternoon drive.
I use my E350 daily and with a 30 mile motorway journey + 5 miles each end of rural, I rarely see more than 30mpg.
The ONLY way I can get anywhere near 40mpg is to put it in cruise on the motorway at 65mph and never accelerate, but if that was what I wanted in life I would have bought a Mondeo.
Agreed. But I think the mirrors are part of the AMG styling pack.
@@nudisco300 if you want mpg stay japanese. My civic idtec 1.6 does 69.3mpg averaged over a few thousand miles.

Sometime really wonder people's choice. This car has about and under 9000 miles per year - what is the point of having diesel for such low mileage?

But the original owner has paid quite a lot more then for petrol 350. You need to do a lot more miles per year to cover the initial difference in price. More over petrol V6 is way smoother and suits the car better while still having plenty of power.
You dont take diesel for low mileage and you dont take diesel for short distance city driving.

@@BenzinioB Spot on. No doubt the original owner probably had issues with the DPF clogging because it was never given a proper blast anywhere. I bought mine at 150k of which about three quarters of that was motorway miles.
They probably got suckered in by the Government's attempt, to get everybody into a diesel at that time.
Wow! A system that alerts you when you're 2 inches from an object if you're travelling at less than walking speed. Man what will these boffins think of next?!!!
That’s not a 2009 E350 that’s 2010 or better
Its a 2009, if it was a 2010 or later i would have said so
the 2010 have different DRL's and updated Comand. There was a minor facelift in 2010
It's an 09. Same as mine
