Impressive! UA-cam algorithms make no sense, this is a 1:1 reproduction of Shout and only 3K views?

I absolutely love these repros. As both a musician and a someone who grew up through the 80s these walk-throughs and breakdowns bring so much joy on so many levels!
Love a bit of Fairlight
So great to see the build of the a great song. The background music is so good on Tears for Fears' music.
Dead on excellent!
Wow! So clear and fresh! This is actually the song that made me love TEARS FOR FEARS! Great job! Brings me back from my 80's memories as a kid and remembering singing it
The CMI V sounds absolutely incredible. Amazing that this all those beautiful synthesizers can be used digitally sold for 1/10th of what it'd have cost you back in the day.
I got it for about £130, compared to it costing the equivalent of almost £100K back in the day.
@@jackwain367 You got the Arthuria pack? I'm contemplating buying it, fear it'll lead to more hesitation on what sounds to pick.
@@JustinRM20 Not the pack, just the CMI V.
The Fairlight series two of 1982 had a retail price of £30,000, which was about the cost of a typical house in Britain. Inflation is weird though. 30 grand in 1982 translates to about 100,000 today, but you'd struggle to buy a house for that. You could buy a LOT of Arturia plugins for that kind of money, however.
I love this. Tears For Fears had such a huge impact on my music and career. Recently I had a client ask if I could make his record sound like them, I said "Sure!". But then I struggled to get the sounds right. So I started looking online and found this. Thank you!
This made it abundantly clear that I need to be producing with the CMI V plugin more lol. Everytime I've used it I just love how 80's it sounds.
Brilliant! You nailed it! Thanks for posting! I‘m an 80s child and proud of it. Grew up with many synth pearls songs 🍻
like one of the greatest hits of the 80s
Bro I love that you put the type of keyboard or VST over the parts on the song in the video. Thank you so much
Just incredible - such attention to detail and inflection - tone and feeling - it's all there. Wonderful!
Very accurate instrumental cover of the song. I like your work.
Your meticulousness is astonishing, can do nothing but thank you
Thank you so much for making this amazing recreation. I learned a lot, and have a new appreciation for the layers of this pop masterpiece. Always wondered exactly what was used for some of the sounds! Bravo!
I'm no composer, neither a musician althrough i know drum, but i seriously love these
This is the best on ive ever heard!!
You nailed this so good its breathtaking........such a good song thanks!!!!
Just wow!
Absolutely fantastic! You should be proud of yourself 👏🏻
Brilliant remake.
big work love it!
Increíble y magnífico buen trabajo brother
Amaaaaaaaazing! I love your vids man
@@ReverbMachine 🙏❤
Great job, I’m doing my own remake of it at the moment 👍🏻
great work, so helpful
Beautiful. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Well done!
you are a genius!
How on earth could you by ear identify each synth and their "presets" or tweak the sound right - impressive and all is so joyable to listen and see what synth hides behind this and that sound and more knteresting.... Which preset or what are the parameters to dial in to het that sound. I use Arturia as well and are soon publishing a few demos like you where synths and sounds from 80s hit songs are in focis. Super great job. Pure joy to view and listen to! Subscribe button already pressed. :-)
Stems for sure. There's also an isolated remix out there.
AWESOME BEYOND WORDS!
very impressive!
Love it
Brilliant!😊
Hey there Reverb Machine - really great stuff! What are you using for the drums? Along with everything else, they are sounding spot on! Also, are you making your own patches on the Arturia plugins? Thanks for any info.
drum sounds are all either Drumulator or LinnDrum samples. Some of the Arturia patches are made from scratch, some of them are factory sounds.
@@ReverbMachine respect! Looking through your impressive library of other remakes… really amazing chops. Keep it up!
Very nice! May I please ask what software you used to capture and sync the audio and Arturia screens in action? This is something I want to learn how to do.
Please , you can make a remake full instrument of Never ending story by limahl, please please please 🙏, with Arturia if it’s possible
Nice ❤
Hello. Sounds great 👍 but just one question… how do you succeed to erase the loop noise of the CMI instrument ? Thank you
The loop noise is part of the Fairlight sound so I left it in. If you want to get rid of it, go into the settings and look for the “Loop Fade” settings.
Intro: and baseline. prophet 5
First and second verse. Fairlight CMI
Bridge Hammond B3
Instrumental. Break. Fairlight CMI Yamaha DX7
Solo. Gibson Les Paul
End and fade. Prophet 5 Fairlight CMI
incredible cover and u have my dream les Paul standard
thank you! yeah, it's a beautiful guitar.
@@ReverbMachine could you possibly do the working hour?
Multitrack recording, right?
Are the drums coming from a Drum Rack? Those are the E-mu drums, correct?
Great job! And where did you get the drum samples?
Amazing! Would there be a higher rez version anywhere for download?
❤❤❤....
Amazing! It would be great if you can send de Ethnic preset , the rest of sounds i got them very similar but this one im not very happy with my result.
In anycase thanks and congratulations!!!
What’s the name of the preset of the prophet v Arturia
I want to make synth music on a budget. Should I get arturia v collection and a daw or couple cheap synths and a stand alone sampler like mpc one?
Down to personal preference - Arturia Collection and a DAW will get you a bigger variety of sounds but the hardware route will give you more hands on control.
@@ReverbMachine what did you use for drums?
@@TwinCitiesOxygen he used emu drumulator samples
would be great if you can share how you get the perfect gated reverb on the drums?
It's apparently a sample from the EMU Drumulator - Paolo from Synthmania also recreated the drums with an actual Drumulator, although this version has a bit of extra reverb and EQ.
not perfect, too short
Would love a high quality copy of this.
hello
What did you use for drums?
He used E-mu Drumulator
how did you make the ethnic lead?
The Fairlight rulez.
I found myself strangely impressed by the instrument I have the least interest in: the guitar. Nice playing!
What did you use for the drums?
Samples from the EMU Drumulator
The drums/percussion are just samples?? Or you used a plugin with those samples
Reverb Machine oh but where did you get the samples from? From the original song??
Reverb Machine ah, great to know. Thank you!
