good question! my freshman year I didn't have a sink in my room, but we had a kitchen at the end of the hall, so I would just wash dishes there. but honestly, I usually just eat on campus and never had to worry about washing dishes because I never really had to cook! when I did fix my own food... I usually just used paper plates!

I actually didn't get along with my roommates my freshman year, but I still decorated my side of the room and she did hers! (You can buy these at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and they usually say "damage free") The the whiteboard sticker dots are really easy to remove, you just have to be a little careful with them.
