JYB started and ended 1996 on top of gogo. In the middle (spring and summer) of 1996 was all BYB once they dropped the 96 dope jam. NEG cranked through most of 1996 but I can’t give them the edge over Junk and Back during the entire year. I’d say NEG came on strong from spring 1996 until the end of the year. Don’t recall none of their signature grooves during this year though.
