One of my fav OMG series!! In my mind, this series is like a rave, music festival inspired series, that explains her funky goggles, they are rave goggles, so so cute
Get yourself a UV light from a hardware store. It will activate the color change. It's also pretty cool to turn off your lights and shine it on other dolls. New details pop.

I really like how colourful she is, i like her hairstyle too. When i was growing up, pony tail was one, bunches was two and pigtail or pigtails were braided hair. (i did grow up in the 80's though)

I just got Bubblegum DJ but unfortunately my area is getting ready to get hit by that severe thunderstorm so I can't take her outside to see her color change since that would be extremely dangerous but from what I been hearing you can use a UV light on these dolls.
Once they changed color, do they come back to the basic colors once there is no more sun ?

I got one for my daughter a couple months ago and gave it to her birthday a couple days ago. Her clothes change, but her hair isn’t. The pink becomes more vibrant, but the other colors don’t change to orange or purple. When I first bought it, it changed in the sun, but now it’s not. So weird and kind of disappointing. I wanted her to see it happen at least once.
Figured it out! It won’t work through a glass window. The clothes will, but not the hair. You have to take it outside and get it direct sunlight.

yes depending on how long you keep her in the sunlight or UV light it will take longer but it will change back
For me the longest one to change back is the skirt. The fastest is the shoes.

Windows block UV light
In another review, using a UV hand held light, there was a slight change in bits of the hair color. It was underwhelming, to say the most. Bad idea. 👎🏼
