The fact this mod looks very official is what amazes me. It looks like it was in the base game shame it really isn't. But I give props to those who made it.

@@PuffyBuffy25 Well, he is not the real Chaos, he is a copy created by Phantom ruby, so we can call him "Phantom Chaos". The Copys are diferent from the real ones, they don't have soul or emotions. But, The Phantom ones can use the phamtom ruby power, for exemple the Metal Sonic fight, when he uses the phamtom ruby as a shield for himself. In Zavok fight, he creates insta- bees using the phantom ruby. Chaos maybe use the phantom ruby to extend his water powers

Isn’t it kinda annoying how SEGA has treated Tails lately? He went from beating Chaos and Eggman in Sonic Adventure to being completely afraid of any villain that maybe somewhat powerful.
Funny how a mod had to incorporate a boss fight that should've been in the original game
And it is better than most bosses in the game. HE ENACTED THE FINAL BOSS OF ADVENTURE 1 BY DROWNING THE CITY!

"He's in the game" isn't exactly true. All of his appearances are in prerendered cutscenes, and his model isn't even in the files. He's there in name only.

@@YTSirBlack rom hacks are a type of mod, they for the most part are mod where you don't edit the original game, they give you their version

I love how it shows an intro in the level ghost town for how classic sonic actually makes it there
One of the few people I've seen show it in the intended order. Lots of people skip ghost town for the videos when there is actually a lot to see there.

The boss doesn't seem as hard as I'd like it to be, but the overall design and execution is definitely amazing, no doubt about it. I especially like the desperation move. 9.5/10.
Well, based on where it's placed, this would be the first boss of the game instead of Zavok, so of course it's more on the easy side.
At least I would consider keeping the spike balls during the water pillars phase so that there is still a way to take damage at all. Aside from that, I would add a health bar like all the other bosses and maybe make the flood escape less strict.
@@holondrix3949 I wouldn't say it's too strict though since there are like 2 platforms that have air bubbles coming out of it which I'd assume would give you more air

I know this has been said to death, but Sega REALLY needs to hire people like this. It's amazing what fans have been doing to Sonic games lately
True SEGA allowed fans to makr an official Sonic game and we got the masterpiece called Sonic Mania
It's always a cost and time issue, Sega has a time crunch and we saw how that effected Sonic Origins.
Or reviving the runners game
After Frontiers, They are listening to their fans for the new Sonic game.
Remember back in Sonic Adventure when Tails defeated the more advanced Chaos 4, saved Station Square from a life-threatening missile attack, and single-handedly took down the Egg Walker?
Apparently the writers of this cutscene don't.
This is the best boss in this game. My only criticisms are the lack of a health bar and not much running. Over all, it is almost the best boss in the game! Best looking one for sure.

Dude holy shit that's advanced stuff, especially considering it's WAY more interesting than the Egg Dragoon fight, which was an official, ACTUAL boss, compared to this fanmade mod.
Not gonna lie that's actually impressive that someone made an actual boss fight for chaos.
As much as I love SEGA this is leagues above their dedication.

It’s times like these that the fans deserve to work at Sega, they do a hell of a better job developing something for Sonic, than the actual developers.
Honestly I’ve seen mods that while are good, don’t fit the style someway or doesn’t seem like it belongs in Sonic Forces but just a mod... *THIS* however seems like an official boss, even with the boss music and how it’s a simple and easy boss but kinda tricky and a bit difficult for a noob at video games, even having a gimmick on how to avoid and beat them but also have a gimmick that can easily take you out if you get cocky and aren’t careful! I even love how the fight is even in a 2D style in a 3D arena but still looks like a Classic Sonic boss. And then the little details such as seeing Tails flying in the background and just giving commentary on your battle just like all the other characters whom aren’t being played by the player. And on how it happens at the end of Ghost Town and actually makes sense with the cutscene already in place is another plus from me cause it’s not like you just animated a fan animation like others have done...
Overall I give this an 11/10 for doing something that honestly meets the requirements to be an official thing in Sonic Forces and not just some mod of “what Sega missed out on”, but at the same time someone could just go and say how much of wasted potential this boss is because of how easy it is for the average Sonic Forces player... incredible job, S Rank for you

That about matches the quality of the rest of the bosses in this game.
I like this version better than what they did I also feel like a classic Sonic vs infinite would be cool as well since he's the only character that doesn't fight him

To improve forces i want the avatar to have two solo boss battles: an infinite ballon monster and infinite himself improved. And Modern sonic sould have three boss battles including shadow.

It looked like Sonic just arrived after defeating Dr. Robotnik and the Phantom King back in Titanic Monarch Zone in Sonic Mania. The Phantom Ruby must’ve teleported him to the Modern Dimension.

If you don’t know how sonic got here this how.
So in sonic mania when you beat the final boss with chaos emeralds beat the boss and sonic will be sucked into a hole and it looks like the hole he comes out off.
Then at the end of this game you will see the Fantom Ruby with the boss and there is the story line.

What was the point of putting Chaos in this game if you never fight him?
Probably because they had plans for it but behind the scenes stuff caused it to be reduced to a minor appearance. Also story related stuff because it's still Chaos.
I tried it but I just tried to jump high to get in that roof but it doesn't even let me because of that spring
