      you could try a binder planner and filling it with your own printed inserts! then when its full you can take your old papers out (you can keep them if thats your thing) and reuse the binder.

    This is what I do instead of buying those expensive journals! I buy the EXCEED Journals and make it into a planner I still do the same thing, decorate them and make the layouts according to what I want to add or take out of my schedules!!! So basically you used a spiral notebook to make a bullet journal instead of an expensive bound notebook. . . A good advantage here is the pages can be ripped out and kept in a 3 ring binder.
    Ever since i was a toddler i have loved spiral notebooks! I can clearly remember the grownups around me writing in them and me having fits because i wanted one and being told i was too young because i couldn't even write yet. I was in Heaven when i finally got my first one.
    In high school my older cousin moved away from our small hometown. She was homesick so i'd stock up on the spiral notebooks and write down each day what happened in our town plus in my own life. When the notebook was completely filled up i'd mail it to her & start a new one. She absolutely loved them and now i would pay good money to be able to read them again.

    • @SpringNotes

    Love this and how you showed different layouts. I could try different formats. Vertical. Horizontal. A week on one page. Two pages. Or a page per day, and see what works best. I don't think I'd get along with vertical. I used to have a planner that worked well for me with one day covering a 2-page spread (but it was a small pocket size).

    For the alpha or numeric stickers, a person can use a label maker. Just enter the letters for each day of the week with spaces between each letter. But make it on one continous label strip then hit the cut lever.
    Edit: I realized I had planner peace when I used a Mead 9.5" x 6" notebook. Now, I absolutely love using notebook paper as my daily To Do list pages inside my Franklin Covey Compact. I no longer use printable inserts from etsy shops.

    Nice video! You could also do this w/composition books. If you watch for the back-to-school sales at Staples around end of July or so, I've gotten them for 10-cents each before. That way, you get more pages (200) and they're easier to decorate the covers OR these days you can get them with pretty covers already but I believe they would cost more. YEARS ago here, there was a girl...DazzleDIY was her name...and she did a quick planner book video from a composition book. I haven't seen anything from her in a very long time though, but I assume her old videos are still up. You know, it's weird...I used a simple spiral notebook as my diaries all through my teenage years and into my early 20s (basically all through the '80s) but now in my old age (52, I'm sorry to say), for a planner, I think I have to use something fancy. Anyway, great ideas though. :)

      @@lakiamaria no, I have binder's of family history and pages to add, but how to face the big job that is. you see 7 binder's link to 7 other binder,s and I WOULD LIKE TO UP DATE THE INFORMATION I HAVE PLACE HERE AND ALL OVER THE OFFICE. To know it is getting done would be a start. BUT i question, did I GET IT ALL OR DID i forget something.

    • @lakiamaria
      @lakiamaria  7 місяців тому

      @@DonnaGable-e9j Oh I understand. Since the 7 binders connect, maybe starting with each updating each binder individually. You could even use the main binder (or however many) as a base for what's mandatory to update. Once they're all individually updated, proceeding to update the main binder should be a simple process.
