People dont understand just how good Tarris Reed is. Now that hes going to be in a place where he`ll get top notch coaching in a system that knows how to use him and a team to help him get in teh best shape of his life we are going to see him do some great things here. He just needs time.

I think people are vastly underestimating what Uconn lost in Clingan. He was a one-man Zone & they were basically playing 6v5 on defense the last two years. He masked so many things like Karaban's slow twitch deficencies. Also Mahaney I just dont see it. He good but is he really Uconn good? I watched alot of film on him when he was in the portal and I saw an undersized 2 guard who had to really lean back and contort to get his shot off in the paint tin the WCC. How will that translate to the Big East. Also he's a good shooter but is he a great shooter like Spencer? He shoots 35% from 3 and I can see that going up a bit in Uconns system so maybe im wrong. But Im definitely rating kansas and Bama if Sears returns ahead of Uconn. And I wouldnt be sureprised if theyre more of fringe T5-10 team when it's all said and done. But, I guess that's still pretty damn impressive considering they lost 4 starters off the team that the floor is still top 10.

UConn’s system is the differentiating factor. Our offense is so efficient in generating open looks. Mahaney won’t be the focal point in our offense like he was at Saint Mary’s. He may end up being our 3rd option which will help his shooting percentages

Kansas was ranked number one last year. We were ranked number 7 last year. Until someone beats UConn in the tournament we are number one just like last year
Karaban wasn't getting blown by last season. Its was more the starting backcourt that got blown by and funneled drivers into Clingan. Alex was an underrated defender who was always in good defensive position.
I hope Gonzaga wins next year just so Jeff goodman feels horrible inside.
