A scene that manages to be hilarious without any dialogue.

This scene was so funny, since it is so relateable; Having just finished an exhaustive day at work, and going directly to the closes fast food place to refuel. Everyone is to tired to do anything besides eat the food, and then go home afterwards.

This is, in a nutshell, one of the best scene in the entire MCU since it depicts the "human beings" behind the heroes. That's the glory of Marvel stories: the fact that, at the end, all heroes are just regular people with their regular problems. SO LOVING IT!

That’s why I like The Incredibles so much, it humanizes their heroes perfectly, just a few minutes in, that interview scene with Mr. incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone sells you the entire premise of the movie.
This is a beautiful poetic take. I mean I think it's just a "funny scene" to the director but you can interpret art in so many different ways.
Let's do a head count: A Demigod, a Super Soldier Legend, a man with BREATHTAKING anger management issues, two master assassins, and a genius, billionaire playboy, quietly eating in a Shawarma restaurant, after an alien invasion nearly destroyed New York City.
Somehow that makes perfect sense.

Apparently the Shawarma Scene was taken during the premier of the film. It was Robert's idea, and everyone liked it, but the film finished production when they came up with it.
actually I just watched an interview with the cast of angel, and amy acker said that Joss was inpired by a sit down of alexis denisof and her in a bar where they didn't talk after a very emotional scene, and just sat there.
And I heard that it was based off of Nicholas Brendon’s audition for Xander where he nervously made a joke about getting shawarma to help break the ice

There's actually a reason Captain America is sitting like he's about to pass out. Chris Evans had grown facial hair they shot the shawarma scene and didn't have time to shave, so he's covering it while looking tired, something he would be after the events of the movie.

I went to see Thor: The Dark World and people started to leave when the credits began rolling. I said, "Where are you going? There are two more scenes!" "Really?" they said. Hahahahaha. Unbelievable.

What's funnier for me is the fact that they're eating in a destroyed store. And wearing the same gear from the fight. Meaning after they were done they went straight to get food.
Fun fact: By the end of the first Avengers movie, Chris Evans was already working on another job in wich he was using beard. That's why he is covering his face in this post credits scene. It was recorded after he already had some beard, so he had to cover, since the Captain had no beard in the end of the action..

I'm just not sure about the third one.

You're not kidding. When this scene hit suddenly shawarma places all over were inundated with customers wanting to try shawarma which is bad if the normal five minute lineup at your favorite shawarma / falafel place suddenly swells to a twenty minute wait and it's like that everywhere.

Shawarma is a Levantine Arab dish consisting of meat cut into thin slices, stacked in a cone-like shape, and roasted on a slowly-turning vertical rotisserie or spit. Originally made with lamb, mutton and chicken, today's shawarma may also be turkey, beef, or veal.
The thinly sliced cuts of meat rolled into a large piece of flatbread or pita that has been steamed or heated. Inside the pita, foods like hummus, tahini, pickles, vegetables, and even french fries are added.
So It's kinda like a gyro sandwich, only the main difference between shawarma and gyro is the meat. ... Like the gyro, shawarma is served with toppings like tahini, tabbouleh, and hummus. Unlike the gyro, shawarma never has tzatziki sauce, which would detract from the flavor of the methodically marinated meat.
