All info about the piece is in the description above! I'm looking forward to put out my next piece straight after this called 'We Are Heroes, Together As One' - you can probably guess what that's based off! And also... I'm GOING TO PASIC so if you're gonna be there let me know in the comments below :))) #TheStudioFamily
thank you for always being so inclusive with 4.3 pieces. i only have access to entry level student instruments and you’re compositions are always perfect for them
I recently bought moon and I have to say I love every single one of the pieces you make. All of them are just so majestic and beautiful in there own way, you are an amazing writer!
The Marimba is the most beautiful sounding instrument in my opinion, and you make it sound just that much better. Keep composing your making masterpieces.
Really beautiful. I love the climax with the main octave melody with scalur runs in between. I love the way you climax the main melody and chorus of your compositions. I've been learning your sunflower and I might get another one. Great cover!
I am learning this one! I will be playing it at solos and ensembles if all goes well! (I also learned orange sunset and will be playing that one at a concert, and I will get a recording hopefully)
wonder if the Marimbafest is on UA-cam? lemme go take a look EDIT: of course the info I need is in the description! thanks for always being so thorough, Adam!
beautiful piece!!! i'm curious about what's on your outer mallets. is that to protect your skin on your middle finger while playing since it sometimes blisters and tears? that might be something i could look into..
It's tennis tape :) I usually have it on the inside ones too but didn't have time to wrap those haha. Yeah definitely makes for a more comfy experience 😊
Hey Adam! I love the piece, it's beautiful! I had a quick question to ask you. I'm a 2nd Year College Student majoring in Percussion Performance. When I evaluate my performances, I realized that my laterals/one-handed rolls are my weakest point. I've performed Rain Dance, Yellow After The Rain, Musser B Major Etude, and Nancy. Do you have any solo recommendations that would help me in those areas? I really appreciate it!
I think the easiest way to build up your laterals is to do exercises that directly target it - for example, doing one handed laterals in 8ths-8th triplets-16ths at increasing tempos (alternating between the three subdivisions) is what I did to build up my one handed roll flexibility. It works because when you do 1H roll you're doing it at a range of speeds not just one continuous one :) Hope that helps!

Thank you so much Victoria! Yes I'm all about giving people a fair go and 4.3 is the majority of people so why not make more music for everyone 🙂

Hey Adam do you think that you could do a solo tier list but ONLY on difficulty? (No x factor or historical significance)
That's a good idea, sure thing :) I needa make a new one this year anyway
Will this be on any solo and ensemble state lists or do you not even know?
Won't know for a while but all my pieces usually get added to places like Texas pml etc
Adam are you playing with your new Encore mallets? Beautiful composition!!!
Yes I am! Excited to see them on shelves soon :)
Is there a release date for the mallets?
They're basically out now, already showed up on Steve Weiss and will slowly be added to other stores during these next few weeks :)
