Great commentary. The Wallabies are rock bottom right now but they have to keep going and making small improvements. With a world cup to host and a tough Lions tour before the task can't get any harder but I hope and believe the pressure will bring out the best. The Boks are on a high and must enjoy it while it lasts, hopefully they can go all the way and win The Rugby Championship this year.
I think its a bit unfair(as a Saffa🇿🇦) to judge the Wallabies and Joe Schmidt to harshly, any team lower than 3rd place playing the boks right now would always struggle. The Aussies is in a rebuilding phase right now and needs some teams more equal to them to truely get some go-forward with the gameplan as a whole. You Aussies just have to be patient with Joe, he's a great coach with a team that hasn't gelled yet.
Agree with the observation made. The only concern I have is that Aus doesn't seem to have the ability to create tries from set plays. Maybe through individual actions. The way they go at the moment, it will take a few years.
@@TheBuildKingR Their attack from set plays is down the the boks' defence in the last 2 games. The Aussies won't open our defence that easily. If they play a similar ranked team their attack might click when the defence won't be that good. The Boks were just too good on D, I might say the best D in the world right now.
@@stefandebeer9375 i agree, however my feeling is that they are probably slightly better than wales. I'm sure if they played 3 games against Georgia, they could've lost one probably. The Aussies should cook in their own stew. They are the ones running after other codes. Yesterday the boo-ed Dricus at the press conference. Last night, they again boo-ed Dricus, pelted Eben and Siya with objects after Dricus won. Nope, no simpathy from my side.
Im from New Zealand, the boks are going to smash us. I truly hope i am wrong. The fact we were half the team last week just proves we can be half the team at any moment of pressure
Makes no sense to have uncontested scrums. if a team can't cover themselves with replacements then why should the other team be penalized. If a team can't field their locks, should line-outs be done away with?
To be fair, I felt that Ozzy were competitive for most of the game except for the maul drives. Think of how close the half time score was. Sure, the Boks as some dropped chances, but mistakes on all sides. Ozzy Rugby is coming along, I'd not be surprised if they sneak a win against NZ this year after taking the Pumas. Though they do need to get those cross kicks aimed correctly.
