Ok, hear me out on this: This video with these pedals, but demo'ed on bass. (This video was great. I've been very curious with a few of these pedals already. But I'd like to hear what they can do on bass.)
i have a vid of me fighting with the data corrupter on my bass on my facebook. i can probably upload something to youtube if youre interested.
Hi, Jeremy. I bought the S.D. FOOZ, and it sounds amazing on bass!
Loved this format, I just feel like Andy could've dived a bit deeper into some of these pedals to really show off what they're capable of. This definitely needs to be a series.
The Data Corrupter rules!
Even Andy has a hard time with the Fooz
I have reviewed many videos from this channel non stop lately. Cool stuff!
Love this format. We can learn so much like this.
Hell yeah, Ibanez Artist!
Love this format .its deep enough to show the choices to be had . Whetting the appetites we can dive deeper.
1:57 ok, that's was sick
I can't recommend the Mattoverse Fuzzy Gates enough. Its such a fun pedal and its a great price for such a capable pedal from a small company.
yeah man they make some cool stuff . they are on the need one of those list!
Reverb please do a video with Andy on how he does that weird invisible pick technique
The Data Corrupter, the WMD Geiger Counter, then there are all the rest.
Eqd and Obnd sound impressingly good!
Ibanez Artist at the start??? Beautiful guitar.
When it comes to just fuzz. The Hail Satan Deluxe is the one to rule them all
3:20 I was not expecting that.
Just what I wanted to see!!
Love how they stuck Andy’s face on the thumbnail haha
I see Fooz but all I hear is "Meow, meow, moewmamow".
surprised the stonedeaf stuff isn't in this
The Stone Deaf Kliptonite is mentioned in the corresponding article above. Hard to choose just five!
Same.
😍😍😍
Does anybody knows at 4:20 whether it is a known song or another epic Andy riff ?
I love fuzz pedals, but it's almost impossible to be heard with a live band :(
Asparagus Bear more volume
Fu Manchu have it down
Add an overdrive and boost pedal to your pedalboard
Andy is my last hope and claim for American culture.
wmd geiger pro ?
What about combining the outputs of a Ring Modulator and Phasing pedal should give something different.
DAVID GREGORY KERR ever since the DOD Gonkulator I have had enough with ring modulation. However that would be really cool
💛
Anyone know what song he's playing with the Exess?
Where is the wmd Geiger counter?
Where can I purchase the Beholder?
So if you tuned your geetar to b then went down three octaves with the data corrupter would the signal be sub audible and would it cause miscarriages.
Gerald Bayley u my friend and to smart for humanity
Fourth song?
First song?
Second song?
Stop making Andy wear Reverb shirts! It's not like we don't know what freaking channel we're watching. At least let him layer his button down shirts.
That's no shirt, that's a giant tattoo. We never asked Andy to do it. He's such a mystery!
Lol
@@Reverb shut up...
Third song?
no Death by Audio?
What’s the song around the 5 minute mark? Sounds like built to spill
Fifth song?
Watching the Five right now. realizing I really miss Kimberly. I like all the members, but Kim added something unique.
Anybody know what Andy is playing at 5:00?
How didn't the Keely Darkside make this list
Cuz it's pretty bad.
I want all of these, who has a job for me?
Excess is not interesting. Fuzzy gates and data corruptor are the best
ive seen a bunch of vids on the Fooz.. idk.. im not impressed.
This video right here is the apitimy of shit I want but have no use for
That first pedal was so terrible I had to turn my volume down because my ears were being raped. How is that even usable? The Excess is the best one in this list.
T FP , I expected a lot from the Fooz after SD's great delay and reverb pedals, but it's a letdown. It seems be tuned alright for synth, but the filter just sounds obnoxious on guitar. Even the fuzz itself is kind of bland.
nah
Dumb question: what amp are you playing through?
It's in the video description, my dude. A fender deluxe reverb reissue
According to video description its a Fender Deluxe Reverb RI.
Thanks, dudes. I didn’t think it was the Orange, but I also wasn’t sure if he was still using that amp after the pro guitar shop days.
Andy always notates his recording setup in the notes section if you prompt it.
@@wrayven what happened to pro guitar shop and andy doing demos for them. I hate the reverb ones. The audi is meh. The video is meh. Reverb. Is meh
Eight and a half minutes for five pedals is too little time to do any of them justice.
That said, the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Excess is the only one of these pedals that really retains some of the guitar character. Much of the rest is just silly noises that might as well be played on a keyboard.
I have a question: I read in the description that the amp used is a Fender Deluxe Reverb. How is its midrange? Thx
Tony Samperi . Deluxe Reverb is a fender blackface amp. They don’t have a mids knob and are known to have a more “scooped” sound (less natural mids)They are great for cleans and pedals though. Nice tube spring reverb and trem. Pretty cool amp if you are into rock, soul and blues from the mid to late sixties. Andy uses that amp for probably 85% of all his reviews. Hope that answers your question.
@@rocksoff731 yess. This answers perfectly :)
As a muff user I think this is not suitable for me.
Thanks a lot for the info.
Cheers from Italy
What about the big muff?
It wouldn't really fit, with it being a bog standard fuzz pedal as opposed to the EQD Dat Corrupter
Definitely wouldn't make sense for this list. It's a great pedal though. But ehx doesn't even make the best muff circuit these days anyway
fooz is terribly stupid design.horrible unusable sounds
