We had the pleasure of welcoming Majnoon to Babakamp Eco Ranch & Retreat Center during Beyond Music & Arts Festival 2022. This talented group treated us to a magical performance 🎶
Witnessing a heartfelt collaboration like this is an experience we're excited to share with all the Babakamp community 💚
Majnoon was born in Istanbul with a group of talented musicians coming together. They perform for new generations while preserving their roots and cultural values 🌍 By creating a bridge between their heritage and electronic tunes, they proudly embrace the motto "Music rising from the East."
All of their performances are completely improvised, crafted in the moment, alongside incredibly talented musicians. Their soulful energies are distilled into sounds and melodies conveyed to the audience 🎵
Their performances often feature Oriental, ethnic, and spiritual tones. With the aim of reflecting the universality of music on stage, the group performs under the name ETHNIC UNIVERSE💫

The algorithms are mechanical and part of us: the unconscious. That's why when you are deep implicated in the feeling side of you, when the mechanical side takes charge, you're experimenting a godly emotion. It's like a perfect symbioze between these two mainly parts of the human being: emotions and logic(mechanic). I feel you!
This music is the language understood by those who try to unite, not divide. And anyone who wants a buffet can have whatever they want on their plate, this spirit gives a feeling of freedom, I congratulate everyone who contributed 🐸🙏🎈

well these turkic peoples are afterall the decendants of the most mystically/ shamanically inclined warrior tribes who came from the grasslands of the Eurasian steppes and conquered everything they came into contact with as they kept moving west , and as they adopted ((Islam))) they infused it with (((Tentrism))) to birth (((Sufism))) which was essentially the way ofthe heart - a convienient way to claim a deeper understanding and a higher authority over scriptures in a complex arabic language that they still couldn't read -. Persians are the more magical ones, having been blessed with a language so rich in abstactions and metaphors and so phonetically echantin, that their tongues are known to sooth the mightiest snakes, even subdue their swornest enemies (((think Shahrazad and her cliffhangers in A Thusand & One Nights)))

When he sings, the first two lines translate roughly as:
True humanity or being human cannot be reached from this material world (literally "the world of dust")
A new universe/world needs to be built, and a new humanity...
Please learn Persian for the rest of it, as the it can barely be translated into any other language without losing much of its incredibly profound meaning.

It's a magical music understood by every human being even though most of the poems are in Persian and by rumi but I don't dare to claim or anything just enjoy the peaceful tune, I've been a dj for the last 15 years or so but such a music has never been heard.
