My growing love for SHINee has made me realize how they set the standard for so many other groups, in terms of talent, hard work, passion and perseverance, as well as brotherhood. I'm glad my other bias groups have such amazing sunbaes to look up to.

With already 5 almost 6 years in the business always being top tier but not getting this daesang it would have been so bitter to lose against their hubaes who weren't even out of their baby-shoes (and had already won the MV award). 2013 SHINee DELIVERED big time, two albums and a mini-album with a title-track that had pretty much the hardest choreography in their career and top notch production value but still, if you hear the audience, people wanted EXO to win even artist of the year.If you see the MC who opened the envelope you can see that even he was relieved and happy for SHINee because they so so so deserved it. EXO have lots and lots of fans and deservedly so. But sometimes they just go overboard with their fanaticism and would do anything to get EXO to the top (and often succeed). But Shawols won here, thank God, because the problem with these awards is they are at least partly public awards and if your fandom isn't strong enough it doesn't matter all that much how good you actually are.
