This is a well deserved award. The dance routine Diversity preformed was both moving and thought provoking. When I have listened to the interviews following this performance I have heard humility and inspiration for this generation. Such a powerful message can only bring challenge and change. Diversity is an amazing dance troop and a great platform to help bring change. Well done and thank you.

Well done Diversity for standing up for what you and many of us believe in. That speech was powerful! Sometimes I wonder if there is any humanity left in this cruel world. However you stood up against racism and showed your passion to see justice in such a powerful way through dance. You give us hope that things can and are changing. I have lost count of how many times I have watched that performance. It still gives me goosebumps to this day and ignites a fire in my heart to stand up against injustice. I would love to see you all do another performance that highlights social injustice. Thank you for your passion to see justice.
It shows how divided the world is that the most complained about moment of 2020, is also voted for as tvs must see moment of 2020. Change is coming. Its just slow, and it's small moments like this that will speed up that change. Ashley Banjo is a living legend.

The most complained about dance act gets the "audience" award? Surely that proves just how out of touch the BBC are.
Not really. A few gammons and Karens complained, which sounded like a lot, but a public vote to the entire population of 66m people in Britain shows that most people are on-side with the BLM movement. Can’t argue with facts kidda.

At the end of the day, it was a portrayal of 2020 through the groups experience including the pandemic, the NHS, people doing good for others despite the covid. A portion of the dance was the dance about racism and the whole world showing their 'support' of racial inequality. Well done lads, it's well deserved.

All I did was criticise Ashley's award speech because he said something I disagreed with, so it's clear you only called me racist because I disagreed with you, a common tactic for those who have no genuine argument. Human rights of black people (even in the US) have been instated for decades, and even longer in the UK. You can't fight for rights that you already have. However, you can lie that you're oppressed and win a BAFTA for it whilst still playing the victim. Sounds like trend jumping, explain why he did this dance last year instead of 2019, 2018, 2017, etc. Because it wasn't poplular back then, really doesn't take a genius.

What people took issue with was the fact that he did this on BGT, a non political show, inserting his political opinion in a place where it had absolutely no place! You would have complained to offsted if the edl went on bgt and said 'all lives matter', do you hate all lives? Or do you just dislike the political indoctrination at play there? You learned this at college, given how radicalised the education system is right now, that actually gives you less credibility, most colleges both in UK and US lean heavily left, so of course they'd say that? Racism in schools, police and jobs, the same schools that ILLEGALY teach critical race theory which encourages both black victimhood and and white guilt, the same police who were scared to report POC who they knew were breaking the law over fear of racism, the same jobs that openly admit they have employment policies that discriminate against white people (and other majorities) and enforce diversity training teaching employees to 'be less white'. The woke culture that has infected the UK makes almost impossible to be racist towards black people (not that that's a bad thing of course but racism going in the other direction is still racism). As for your point about us having a negative stigma about black people, this is completely untrue. Again, woke culture only ever encourages hatred towards white people (not trying to play the victim or claim oppression, just failing to see where this stigma is). That being said, a hatred for black people could develop in years to come if we keep having chumps like Banjo speaking for all black people, leading white supremacists to think all black people are like him and other activists who are much worse than Banjo. Finally your point about black people and white people being taught differently is crazy because it implies that schools and classrooms are segregated, which they aren't. When I was at school there were people of all colours in every class, and we all got taught the same thing ignore we were in the same classroom, so I don't get what this point is!?
