When you get excited on the simplest of things Is the very reason which keeps us excited In a suspense like trance Looking at trash and junk had never ever been exciting in my life But after seeing you're enthusiasm l have a whole new perspective towards life Keep it up chig and thank you
Awesome old stone house, and it's a shame your friend lost the opportunity to restore it. I love old stone structures; one I am most familiar with is on an old homestead/farm in mid-western Illinois. It was said to be built in 1806, and astonishingly well-built with local limestone. Three feet thick walls, two stories... Simply beautiful! Love the possibilities of caves - or course there would be a natural spring - they don't spend the effort to build so solidly with stone, otherwise. 😏 I sense a caving adventure in the future! 😅 GL, HH, and as always, please travel safe! 🍀
Love a good ramble with ya Chigg. You make a good exploring tour guide. I love the old buildings, wells, and woods. Not so much the poison ivy and oak tho. Get yourself some Technu Oak & Ivy soap. You can get it at Walmart or online, it really works. My hubby uses it as he has to wade through the poison oak & ivy every year to his favorite salmon fishing holes. Dude won't give up fishin' for nothin'. Hope you have better luck finding coins next time, but some of those old relics were really cool too. Happy hunting, and have a great day!
It's great when you get excited...it's contagious. Nothing wrong with it...I would be excited too. Just sayin'. Never sell yourself short...just keep being yourself. Have fun...and stay safe.
Three things I can almost guarantee in these videos. Rain, finding treasure on the way back to the truck, and it's getting late. Lol Another enjoyable video, Chigg.
Wow, so much difference in the soil from the Louisiana muck. I know climate is different throughout the US. I notice the soil each time you dig, being from farm country makes think how rich ground is for planting. Thanks for sharing
Mr. Chigg you were the first detector UA-cam channel to which I subscribed over two years ago. I have always enjoyed your videos. I bought a used AT Gold detector on Amazon... I love it and have found lots following your tips and expertise. Thanks for your videos! I have since bought an AT PRO. It is an awesome machine and I bought one (used) for my brother-in-law for his birthday. He plans to take it to his son who lives in Georgia (Russia) to look for Roman coins. Thanks for your dedication to the hobby.
19:40 strand of bark on right side of screen might have been there for 200 years? Lol jk but It's crazy to think that bark on the tree was just chilling there 200 years ago when people were walking above it. and still Looks the same. Fascinating.
Hate to see those old houses waste away. Such a shame. First Target was a driveshaft yoke. That big round part was a smog pump or also called a air pump and the pulley went to it.
The old hand drug wells around my part of the world sometimes cave in underground. They were deeper but over time the sides cave in to form a opening underground. Need to be careful trying to look down the well. It could cause the side to cave in. Back in the 60s, we use to explore old abandoned homes in the woods. First thing we did was find the well. Did not want to fall in.
IS THAT A BIGFOOT RUNNING ACROSS THE FIELD AT 13:08? Certainly looks like one. Perhaps he was staying in the house. Man I LOVE THE EXPLORATION VIDEOS. Almost as much as the detecting ones, Thanks for sharing the adventure.
👍 Will this you gotta find the well in the hole and under the house you can always come back and look at it later time to get out of there I'll see you on the next
Take me exploring anytime Chigg! So sad that all the flooring was removed from the house!! Your gonna need a back hoe to get to anything below the trash! A few other home sites to check out👍🏻 I’d really like to see a camera put down that well👍🏻 Thanks for the adventure Chigg!! GL & HH🎧⛏
You got your hair cut 😢😢😢 What have you done to your finger?! What a gem that house could be, I so wish it could be restored 🙏🏻 Just so ya know, a treasure-less explore with the Chigg is still a treasure❣️
Hmmm...is that a bandage on his left hand ??? What did you do Chigg ??? Could a pair of gloves have prevented that ??? You tell us to always wear gloves. Was it from digging...or is that a defensive wound from Lindsey ??? BTW...cool old house...ashamed it won't get restored...what a waste. Another great video...you never disappoint....thank you for letting us tag along again.
That old stone house was impressive, obviously well built. Shame it won't get restored but really if the guy couldn't replace that floor what are the chances he could have restored the rest
Baltimore county dog lisc tag! LOL. So you must be in Balto county. Reminded me of a place that should be detected if you could get permission. Actually 2 different properties side by side. I don't know how to message you to tell you where. But it's in northern Balto co "Hereford zone". There is a stone roadway way back in, and 2 old homesteads. Near PA/MD line. Land owners of 1 property do not know the history behind the ruins and the roadway. The homesteads are just typical farmers, but the stone road and a big 2 story spring house I feel are connected, and a stone road = rich guy way back.
Oh, I agree... that house was totally awesome. Nice and spacious with lots of open areas. ROFLOL On a serious note tho, my father had a few cobbler anvils with its stands, due to his father or grandfather using them or he had periodically used them himself in earlier days to fix shoes. They, and many more items, were lost when he and my step-mom had to be placed in a nursing home, sadly enough. I lived in NC at that time when they had to give up their home, from which I grew up in, so I wasn't able to recover all that stuff. My birth & step-sisters didn't keep any of those antique items due to space and partly from their condition & whatnot. What a waste really. Lost history and their stories. Keep on hunting, my friend.
do you ever do videos with machines other than Garrett ? Would love to see something with XP deus or equinox 800/600 maybe vanquish 540 I have an at pro love the sound of the thing but it's very frustrating to use I bought a Deus last year it's the easiest lightest most enjoyable machine i've used I guess you get what you pay for Love your videos thanks
I would like to try my hand at metal detecting I have had 3 surgeries on my back and cant work and need to find something to do with my time while I can still walk What would you recommend I buy for a detector for first timer?? I realize I'm not gonna get out there and find d God coins but still want to try I wanted to mention I'm on Social security so I cant afford a $1000. Detector

I'm from Southern Illinois and there are some cool old places around here if you know where to look
Central il here
When Chigg says "This place is startin to get on my nerves..." It's time to skidaddle.
The logs still have bark on them after 300 years! Cool.
It's because it's American timber
That week European timber wouldn't last like American timber
Thanx Chigg for another great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE
Really enjoy watching your videos and thanks for showing us your set up and explaining how you locate old home sites. Mike in sunny Florida
Love the scenery

Oak island lol I see that every day from my front yard! Literally 5 min walk ,Hello from Nova Scotia
Bushbaby are they still filming, haven't seen it for awhile! My winter neighbors were from Cape Breton Island on west bay right on the Bras d'or lake.
mags yes they are still filming but not right now it's an off season until the spring.
@@bushbaby_6272 I lost my treasure at Oak Island please tell me if you find it
Oak Island. Such a scam. They never find anything but for some reason people keep giving them money to continue searching.
That hook is a Nail Puller. The hook dug out and around the nail so that the part with the groove could reach and pry the nail out.
Of course you'll go back, you wouldn't be Chigg if you didn't! Have a great weekend Beau!😊😊
Very excited for this video
Definitely like to see you film the well.!!!!
Dig, yes! Dig, dig, dig! And a well and cave, yippee!
Three things I can almost guarantee in these videos. Rain, finding treasure on the way back to the truck, and it's getting late. Lol Another enjoyable video, Chigg.

Beau that was a cave and that well Oh well maybe the next one's the game changer!!!; )
It's sad that your friend couldn't restore the house. It was a neat place

You don't keep a brushhog in the truck?
I would try to restore or preserve that house
Shiver me timbers

Is there a cave under the house? @ 19:46

Civil War ice skate!
That looks like that haunted house, ive seen it before, people got killed in there
Was the shoe last your last find of the day ?lol
Oh gawd, I was just thinking, you haven't accidentally dug up someone's pet from long ago, have you?
I asked Ms. Relic Recoverist to help you with the audio in your videos (too quiet). She said it was the camera you use.

That house needs restoration 👍

that big buckle was a cinch buckle and could be from the civil war as both sides would have used them. as far as civilian,we still use them
