すると、出来あがりについては期待も心配も今更なので、落ち着いて楽しまざるを得ないのですね。

ボルテスVが何故にここまでフィリピンの皆さんに愛されるのか。日本産のアニメなら他にも山ほど放送されてきたはずだよね。
この歌だけでも皆日本語のまま歌えるってどゆこと？
ともあれ絶句するほどのクオリティ。日本発の作品をこんなに愛して素晴らしい作品に昇華させてくれてうれしい。これ日本でもどこか配信してくれるよね。
私達日本人にも応援させてよね。
I can sing the opening song in Japanese and English version since grade school, the first time the animè version was shown and up to now ;)
主人公の剛三兄弟の父親の故郷の星で圧政を敷いている皇帝から星を解放するのもメインの一つなのもあるかもしれませんね。当時のフィリピンで独裁体制を敷いていたマルコス政権が反体制運動を恐れた為、放送を中止させたってことがあるくらいだし(当時のフィリピンで視聴率50％台)。まぁ、後に見ていた当時の世代が革命を起こしてみたいで政権は崩壊、放送再開されますが。因みにボルテスVの歌は陸軍の軍歌にも採用されてるみたいですね。
理由は大きく言って4つあります。
第一に日本製の中でもかなり初期に輸入された（ロボットアニメに限れば第1号）であり主題歌はそのままだったこと、
第ニに放送された時期は娯楽が少ない（というより抑圧されてきた）マルコス政権だったこと、
第三に最終的には最初の放送時はマルコス政権によって途中で打ち切りの憂き目に遭遇したこと（放送は後に再開はされるが政権打倒後）
(※打ち切り理由は革命描写があるせいだ、とも、いやいや単に暴力表現が多いからなだけだ、とも、もっと身も蓋もない話をすると配給会社が政権中枢へのコネがなかったからだとも）
第四は90年代の再放送（厳密に言うとタガログ語版への吹き替え）で再ブームになった直後、堀江美都子さんのフィリピン訪問&チャリティーライブが実現して人気を確固としたものにできた
です。
第三の理由については初回放送時の世代に関しては、「ボルテスと現実の政治をリンクさせて考えたりしていない(だから当時の大人の判断にはむかついた)」、「ボルテスのおかげで革命が起きたなんて神話」という人もいるものの、90年代の再放送世代は「ボルテスが勇気をくれたから勝てたんだ！」という受け止めをする人は多いようです。
（今作の監督も再放送世代。キャストにも一部その世代はいるし、なんだったら再放送時の声優が顔出しの役者として参加しているケースも）

ここまで原作をリスペクトしてくれるなんて、本当に感謝と尊敬の意でいっぱいです。

欲を言えば、最後のボルテスの決めポーズで、あの「バキュイィィン！」のSEは欲しかった。まあそれでも、この素晴らしさは少しも損なわれないけど。
剛健一（あちらではスティーブ・アームストロング）役を演じているミゲル・タンフェリックスさんは、2017年に再放送というか、タガログ語吹替版として放送された「ダイモス」にて、竜崎一矢（リチャード・ハートフォード）を演じてもいます。
だから「ジャスティーン」でシャウト慣れしてるんですね。
（ちなみに剛健太郎（ネッド・アームストロング）役のデニス・トリロさんは、99年のボルテスVのタガログ語版でスティーブを演じています。
ある意味、声優と俳優が分業されている日本では、マネのできないキャスティングもこの作品の魅力でもありましょう）

I'm an ultimate fan of Voltes V(anime) kaya nung nalaman kong may Philippine adaptation ,I was so very excited .Even the casts, sobrang ang gagaling and veteran sa mga lines and actions nila.
