ASMR | FACE, EYE and SCALP inspection (ASD-friendly)

- Hi Friends!
I used the feedback you gave me on my first ASD-friendly video and turned it into this video! Not all triggers will be for everyone, but I tried to cater to as many of your comments as I could. Meaning, symmetry, very little eye contact or interaction, explaining what I'm doing, no mouth sounds apart from talking, light triggers, longer focus on certain triggers, telling not asking...
I did include the gloves as most of you seemed to like it or not mind it.

#ASMR, what’s in a name?
Remember when, as kids, you’d trace each other’s back, maybe trying to guess the letter, word, animal or drawing? Yeah, feeling the tingles yet? Welcome to the wholesome world of Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response.
Relax, my Friend...

I think youre the only asmrtist I've seen who's willing to use the terms autism and ASD, and I really really appreciate it. There are a lot of ADHD friendly videos, but everyone still acts like autism is a concept that can't be broached. These videos are really sweet and it's really cool of you to make them! Thank you!
As a person with both. These videos are amazing and the whole channel is a relief
Agreed
ASMR Jonie made one really good too
@@biarodrigues137 ooh I'll have to check their video out too!
@@jaimiebrown4055 I only have ASD myself tho it does have some elements of ADHD too, my condolences to you having both.
As someone with ASD, your videos have never really bothered me anyway.. Probably one of the few ASMR that consistently doesn't make sounds that annoy me. Nail tapping for example gives me anxiety for some reason, and is a very common thing people do.
I do absolutely love writing though!
I'm oddly the same. I hate the nail tapping so much on random things. I also have autism. And I agree with your other points. Shes my favorite. Everything is perfect.
I’m this way with mouth sounds. The stimmy sounds are okay, but anything that sounds remotely similar to eating/ chewing sounds makes my skin crawl 😖
I really appreciate how much you take feedback into consideration with your videos and try to make them as friendly as possible. Thank you for everything you do!
“I don’t expect anything from you. Just relax.” Hit so hard.
Thank u! I don’t have ASD but I do have OCD, and having things (especially sound) happen unbalanced can send me into a panic. Knowing that there is intentional symmetry is so nice and helpful for me!
I love that you've made these adjustments for those of us with ASD.
Personally, the eye contact thing is usually because I try to hold it too long and don't know when to stop.
Sophie's eyes are particularly lovely, and I'd probably make her uncomfortable in person by the length of time I maintained eye contact just to look at them.
Ive never slept better knowing I didn't have to feel obligated to make eye contact the entire time
Yes! Eye contact is hard for me too and not feeling the constant stare, (even through a screen) felt great❤
I really appreciate how to took the feedback and didn't step too far in the other direction. Like, by overcompensated with no eye contact at all.
I didn't know how much I needed this video until I watched it. Thank you for working with the community to make something ASD friendly!
Symmetry in this video makes me so happy 😊
Very quiet and comfortable too😴
Thank u ✨
Don't mind me as I pop this into a group chat for my autistic friends. We all love watching asmr together, all of us usually pile up and watch.
As always, another great video! Great seeing you again Sophie!!!!!
Very much appreciate you doing this!
As always, another amazing video. You are by far the best ASMRist on youtube. ❤️❤️
Merci infiniment Sophie, vous me faites tant de bien…
Best ASMR channel!! Pls asmr surgery or anesthesia video with heart monitor sounds and gloves, so helpful for sleep❤❤😍😍
Another wonderful video! Thank you!
Thank you for getting me to sleep.
Thank you so so much for doing these types of videos as some one with ASD I really appreciate that! and I love the glove sounds too!
I'm am curious, what makes videos ASD friendly? Especially in regards to ASMR. Something I never considered.
@@jordybordy007 it’s the use of lack of eye contact, reduced noise and fewer touches on the mic (which is where the gloves help) I hope that helps you understand
@@jackr295 That makes sense. I enjoyed this style as well.
My son is on the spectrum
This is a really lovely video! Thank you for being inclusive to us all
Toch één van mijn meest favoriete asmr kanaal aan het worden👌👌👌👌
As an autistic ASMR lover I appreciate this. :)❤ Also ty because gloves are in my top 3 triggers lol
Hi Sophie ❤❤
❤
I just hope you do more no talking stuff. I had hoped when you said in that the last one with no interaction you’d try doing more like that and would mean more not talking going forward but alas.
Your eyes are beautiful
❤❤❤❤❤❤
What does ADS stand for I've never heard of it
Hey, are you doing ok?
Love your videos.

What does ASD friendly mean?
Autism Spectrum Disorder
ASD stands for Autism Spectrum Disorder. It can also be called neurodivergency but not all people want to be called neurodivergent. Some people may also prefer "on the spectrum" or what have you. Hope you have a swell day.
Thanks for explanation, I was also wondering the same thing. Makes me enjoy watching Sophie all the more knowing how caring she is to accommodate the different needs/wants of viewers 😊

If you ever expected anything from me… the moon itself would come with whatever you asked….
ASD is my new favorite thing. I do not know what it is but I must have it because liked this so much. Realism just got whole new level.
ASD is Autism Spectrum Disorder
ASD means autism spectrum disorder. So it is not a thing
ASD is short for Autism spectrum disorder or also can be called neurodivergence. But some people usually prefer to say “on the spectrum” instead, as far as I know, you’re free to research more. So you can’t rlly say that unless you’re medically diagnosed.
Neurodivergence is not the same thing as ASD… anyone who is neurodivergent is considered, where as people “on the spectrum” are simply autistic. Anyone, (including neurodivergent people) who are not autistic would be called Allistic. Hope this clears up the info you gave.
@@yV__Vythank you! I might’ve mixed things up and got it wrong since I’ve read that somewhere but thank you for letting me know!!
هل صوفيا لديها توحد أو سمات توحد ؟
This would be so perfect without the gloves 😓 but a wonderful video nonetheless 👍
You look like Cammy from street fighter
