I cut my 10m grey in half as well. I fitted cam locks to each end for ease of connection when required. I roll my hose into the mesh grill which is behind the drawbar. Your bag solution is also a top idea.
I cut our hose in two and added screw couplings like you. I found also that mostly you don't need the full 10M. Do you have a grey water tank in that van? Keep up the videos. I enjoy them all.
It was only a cheap bag around $50.00 two years ago from eBay. It has holes in the bottom so your can put in anything that is wet. Also makes a good rubbish bag if needed. These hoses get really dirty on the outside especially if on gravel or dirt and it rains. Cheers!
From memory I purchased the fittings from Bunnings or Reece plumbing. They are made from polypropylene and are known as nipple and nut and tail fittings. Cheers!
No never had an airlock issue. The only thing that I think could cause an air lock would be if the internal diameter of your grey water hose is too small for the amount of water being discharged, it may have a build up inside the hose, the plumbing leading up to the grey water outlet has too many sharp bends or the under sink S Trap may need cleaning out. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Glad you like it. Cheers.!
I used Ozito cam lock fittings. A male and a female on each end allows me to join each each hose together and sealed.
It’s a good idea also helps to hold the hose together after you roll it up. Cheers!

Yes we do have a 100 litre grey water tank and have used it a couple of times. Appreciate your comment. Cheers!
opps hose
Not sure what sort of hose you are referring to.
I have been wondering how to store this item- the bag on the tyre is a good idea!

Does your grey water hose/system develop airlocks?
