I feel for you GP players. I play Corki and Ezreal(both mid) and feel we're in the same boat. Corki has had two patches in the last 5 years where you could consider him good and now he's sitting at a clean 40% WR. Meanwhile Triforce and Muramana are gutted so, fuck Ezreal it seems. I have very little hope for the future.
Gangplank requiers you to do certain things in 1 sequence and you do massive dmg but since items nerfs same sequence gives you nothing and kegs arent easy to play with when the enemies are aware

Yeah as a nunu main I prefer to farm until LVL 18, I let the enemy take all drake's and then I only split push building hullbreaker
