Thank You Chris for taking the time to put together an awesome demo of the SD7! I play professionally and currently have an Audya going on 8 years old. I'm contemplating buying the SD7 for my next arranger. I was concerned it may be a major step down from the audya, however, I really like what I'm hearing in the demo's I have found online. I have a ton of miles on her and she continues to function perfectly, however, I don't know for how much longer. I've decided I'll purchase the SD7 soon. If you have a minute, check out my site. By far the very best demo I have heard Why does Ketron not feature players like this to demonstrate their instruments instead of some of the embarrassing novices that they use.
Thanks for the vídeo. I have a Ketron SD7 Does anyone know how to prevent keyboard transpose from automatically returning to normal when MIDI stops? I also wanted to know how to (definitely) turn off pitchbend. Apparently it starts on its own... Thanks
Hey Chris, I know this video is a few years old. I really like ketron even when it was Solton by Ketron Lab. But what my opinon is on this Italian brand beside the superior sounds. They do not really change that much over the years. In overall sounds and styles. I play a ketron X1 for many years and use a extra midi controller with a Ketron SD4 module. I really must say I don’t see the need to upgrade yet to a Audya,SD7/9

I REALLY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE TENOR SAX IN THE KETRON. Why use a single sample for a whole tenor sax..... just like some toy psr. Low keys have breathy sound, but the high notes of the tenor sax flow in legato. Not as breathy as the lower keys. An update is urgently required.
I like the big band trumpet very much. "A great alternative to Tyros or Korg" - not for me, because I have a big Yamaha style collection and much styles for Korg and few for Ketron, but could imagine the SD 40 as the 3rd one in my twin key setup.

I agree I can`t find any sd40 (the module version of the sd7) anywhere in Sydney. Not even Gospel Music the Ketron sole distributor has it.
