Hey Big country, glad to see you back and thanks for the update on your tent. Mine is still holding up as well. I bought mine about three and a half years ago. I'm anxious to use it again so I'll let you know how it goes on my next camping trip. Tip, I put foam square pads on the inside floor. It makes a comfortable feet insulation and warmer air mattress. Happy camping.

Next time extend the top poles first and then the rain fly. Then you can extend the bottom poles.

Why didn’t u put the rain fly on when it was 1/2 way up so u can fully reach?

How difficult is it to get it folded back up and put away in the duffel bag? I am 6'-2" and looking for a tent that I can stand up in, and this one seems tall enough.

@@bc_nc - Thanks! I just ordered one from WalMart (only $129!), plus a 12 x 16 footprint tarp ($16) like the one in your video. WalMart says it will be delivered by June 3rd, and our next camping trip is June 14th. Really looking forward to having a tent I can stand up in; our last 2 camping trips I was using an old 6' x 6' dome tent that is about 6" less tall than I am (can we say, back ache central?), and getting it set up - threading the poles through the fabric - is an exercise in frustration that I will be glad to never have to do again. Your video was the #1 reason I decided to go with this tent - you set it up without help and without any difficulties, and that's good enough for me. I'm 65 years old, and not as limber as I once was, so this tent had to be capable of one-handed setup and take down.

@@bc_nc - - I set up the tent this morning and took it down again and bagged it, no problems. I also filmed the process. I only found 1 issue with the tent: the 6 little elastic cords on the corners and long sides of the rain fly are too short. I had to stretch the rain fly way too tight/too hard to get those 6 hooks over the cloth loops on the tent shell. This has got to be corrected the next time I set up the tent, by extending those cords so that neither the rain fly or the tent fabric has to be pulled tight. Both fabrics are thin nylon, and they would be bound to tear loose somewhere if I stretched the rain fly like that every time I use the tent. The expandable bag is nice: undoing that zipper adds about 3" to the height of the bag, and makes it easy to get everything back in. I also really liked that the bag has grab handles on the top AND both ends. That's attention to little details that I appreciate. The total number and area of openable panels is awesome: open all of them and the tent doubles as a screen house. I haven't tried the built-in LED light strips on the ridge poles; I'll be using the tent on a camping trip in 2 weeks and I'll see how the lights do, then. Standing head room, yayyyy! I am 6'-3" in tennis shoes, and I had 4" clear space above my head everywhere except right up against the walls. Wonderful! the tent this one replaces is only 5' tall, and I got so tired of never being able to stand up straight in it.

Thanks for the demo! I got an Ozark Trail 9- person instant tent for camping alone since Texas state parks don't allow dogs in/ around their enclosed facilities. I hope i can put it up alone, too, even though I'm in my 60's and not near as tall as you!!
If you could make a video showing how you pack it up alone, I'd really appreciate it! I'm nervous about doing this alone, so I'll take all suggestions, instructions, and ideas!

I looooove Ozark! I’m an avid camper, especially the NC State Parks. I either go alone with one of our puppy dogs, with my husband, or a huge group all together! I have a small 4 person Ozark Trail, we just purchased your tent for my husband and I and the dogs, and then we have the monster 16x16 Ozark for a big group. Thanks for the video! Can’t wait to get this new tent and go to all our favorites! Kerr Lake, Jordan Lake, Falls Lake, and Goose Creek!
