So this was another Heading my Mother repeated. Its the same artist. God, these two tracks were back to back on our ReeL to ReeL. I have forever searched for them since 1978.
Thank you again, for sharing your story. It means a lot! I am glad you were able to find it. Hopefully, it brings back memories. This record is now very hard to come by, and I only know of a couple original copies still in the hands of people I know. This was a very popular EP when released and has been since, with those who remember it. It took me a very long time to get hold of a copy to digitise, as the EPs are prized possessions for those who still have the original.
@@gss-gsh Man what are you prowling here for. I find that pretty unusual and personal. Thank you for your sensitivity but asking for Mother’s name and place seems bizarre.
@KuLdi Lakh sincerest apologies as the nature of my question was not to cause any offence by any means. I have a very personal connection to this record and specifically with the artists who recorded them. Over the years it became very apparent that most people who had this record, or those familiar with it had some sort of connection with Gian Singh Surjit and Gurbachan Singh Hamdard over the years in the UK, especially during the 70s and 80s. I was simply trying to establish a possible link on the off chance for some history, but again I sincerely apologise for any unintended offence caused and misunderstanding. Feel free to disregard the question.
@@gss-gsh I apologise too for my misunderstanding. However My Mother or Father wouldn’t have known the artist as we acquired a ReeL to ReeL with a SpooL full of Punjabi FoLk Music. It was a four track mono (OneSpeaker) playing Left channel, which you could switch over to the Right channel to listen to another recording, and then turning the spool round gave you another two tracks (Left and Right Channels) to record alternative songs, much like the Cassettes which operated stereo-ly…LeftRight-A side, LeftRight-Bside. The music came on the spool of ReeL with the ReeL-2-ReeL for £15. It was the first music player for our side of the family in 1974ish, prior which Mum and Dad solely had to rely on visits to other relations to listen in on FiLm Hits and FoLk Music as Dad had only come to UK in 1965. In 1976 we advanced into buying a Stereo Music Centre which incorporated a Cassette Radio and Record Deck all-in-one. The ReeL-to-ReeL still was being played but dormant most of the time as the Music Centre was spacious in stereo sound. Nobody quite figured out how to transfer the material across to cassette, until the ReeL to ReeL developed a fault and was shelved. I gave it to our local service engineer with all the spools which I never re-inquired about after which the format was superseded by Cassette. My Mum and Dad was totally reliant on new whizz kids to play music pieces as their era was about work, rest with very little play. Hearing these two songs by ‘Gian Singh Surjit’ was exactly at the end of the ReeL. My Mother as said use to repeat the titLes over and over again. But 5 years and a few months too late, despite all relentless searches on Utube, I even asked the OLd Boy whom sold us the ReeL-2-ReeL, but he declined saying, it was a long way back for him to remember. But I found it.!

If I may ask, what is your late Mother's name, and from where?
